So I recently acquired a cop uniform and am on the hunt for a cop car. I want something I can store in my garage obviously. Something that looks like an actual police car. Colors and customization options appreciated. Pictures greatly appreciated.

Don't have a picture but the Stanier is good

That is what I've heard. Any tips on finding one. Or are they common?

You can purchase one from southernsanandreassuperautos.com for $10,000.

In my opinion you only have a few options here, and since searching such things is nearly impossible I will help you out. I run an emergency service role play community so I'm well versed on the tricks of this aspect to the game. If you're looking to physically "own" a police vehicle then here's my suggestions. First things first: the vehicles that work....

1) Bravado Buffalo (Older style Dodge Charger)

2) Bravado Buffalo S (Resembles the 2014 Dodge Charger)

3) Cheval Fugitive (Loosely resembles the 2015 Chevy Impala)

4) Declasse Granger (Chevy Tahoe / Suburban)

5) Vapid Stanier (Resembles the late 90's Ford Crown Victoria)

The next step is to choose a legitimate color. I'll leave that to you. Now a lot of people like to throw on a crew emblem but in my opinion, it doesn't matter what you do: they all look awful on cars. Now on clothing (track jackets in particular), you can come up with some nice stuff. Generally, I'm a proponent of darkening the window tints as well. And then finally, finish it off by throwing on some wheels. I think using the Tuner rims works best - Fairlie, Spooner, etc look nice once painted black. But again, this is going to be your choice.

That said, if you're truly looking to roll around as an officer, you need a marked unit with working lights. There are some tricks to obtaining more than the typical options that GTA Online provides you (WHY Rockstar put so many great police vehicles and variants in the game only to keep them out of our hands on GTA Online I will NEVER understand) but if you message me on XBL or here on GTA Forums, I would be happy to either provide you with some tricks including how to fix them or offer you the ability to do what your trying to within a community of like minded individuals. Hopefully this has been of assistance to you. My gamertag is Iceman 918 (NOTE the space)

Thank you for all this. Really appreciated. I ended up buying the stanier. Painted it black. Blacked out windows. Police horn. SA exempt plates. Wheels are lowrider "classic rod" black color. I think this looks really great as an undercover police car. (doesn't really go with the cop uniform but I don't care) I even bought a night stick :)

Go with a Karin Intruder with classic rod painted black in dark grey. Looks great!
