Yep, because well, why not? I'm set to spawn in on it, run piracy protection once in a while.

 

I would love to be able to have a heist room on it though.

Right. But in what way is this thread an appreciation thread? I just want to know the demographics of about how many people own it.

 

I don't care if you appreciate it or not. You could have bought it and no longer like it (aka don't appreicate it). I just want to know how many own it.

Not yet. I don't play as often as I used to so 7+mill seems miles away, and the appeal isn't there for me. Maybe one day though.

Im a freeroam warrior so I spent what money I had, 3 million, on a Eclipse custom apartment and two fully modded armored Shafters, Im happy, I made 60 million career wise since the summer. Spent most of it on ammo and Pegasus vehicles to kill over 9,000 players. Not interested in a yacht, it would be too boring for me. The yacht is more of a role play type of deal and Im more of an action player.

I'm an action man and the yacht, in combination with vip activities, has speed up the game as much as the teleportation glitch did, which ironically was patched with this update. Give it another try.

No. Never did and see no reason to now. I don't see that there is much to do on them. Pretty boring, as the houses and apartments are.

These yachts are absolutely beautiful and people would be silly not to want to own one, these are floating palaces as r* puts it and they right.

 

And I repeat what others have already said, finally we have something people can work towards and save up for, you don't have to own it straight away, take your time and buy it when you feel the time is right

 

I can see r* will bring options in the future to use our yachts more, so I think they have a bright future. I am planning to buy 1 for each one of my 4 characters. I currently own 2 and will wait until a sale hits.

I bought one the same day they came out, because why not? At first I didn't think it would be very useful, considering the price tag, but to be fair I never intended for it to be useful in the first place. Now that I have one though, I've actually gotten a lot of use out of it. Now when I load a session I can grab a helicopter right away and launch Sightseer in VIP mode, then once I finish that I use one of Lester's texts to teleport to my apartment and sell a Baller. That's about the fastest way I've found to make $30K+, and I can do it at the beginning of every session now before I become engrossed in other activities. I've probably made millions off this new routine already.

 

I can also grab a couple of free proximity mines at the beginning of every session too, but I tend to forget about that feature since I never use them. If you like using proximity mines, this feature will certainly save you some money...maybe not millions, but at least thousands.

I don't own one, I don't want one. As i don't see the point in owning one, if i had 6m id spend it on the fastest jet money can buy a house in vinewood hills and a T20 and id have more fun as id have a 27k sandbag so i can f--- with people but be safe doing so.

there is a Yacht appreciation thread and of top of that is another popular Yacht thread. but whatever, here's my take on it before this thread gets locked.

Yes, i do own a yacht, matter fact i just bough it 4 hours ago after 2 weeks of non stop griding of TLSC and VIP mission Sightseer back and forth. i was able to buy the Pisces because it's cheaper obviously and has the Swift which is faster than the SV and my favorite heli in the game alongside the speeder too.

I love mine, and I also love the fact that it's usually one of the, if not the only yacht in my session. Basically I feel like I have something most players do not have, and in most sessions that is the case.
