What happens if I transfer my character from Xbox One to Xbox 360?

My Xbox One is being fixed and I was thinking of playing on 360 for a while. Is it possible for me to transfer my character? If so, are there any consequences or is it smooth sailing? Thanks.

I'm afraid you can only transfer characters from last-gen to current-gen/PC, or from current-gen to PC. Anything else is not possible unfortunately.

If you transferred from 360 to One, your progress should be still available on the 360. It'll only be the progress when you actually transferred. The saves on Last Gen and Current Gen are separate.
