georgino999
I think I found something really interesting. http://darrenhatton.wix.com/resume-v2#!vstc2=page-3d/vstc0=gta5-art This is a porfolio of former Rockstar environmental artist Darren Charles Hatton, who was working on GTA 5 at Rockstar North until he moved to 2K Australia in July 2010, according to his Linkedin profile Although the web site is bugy as hell, you can clearly see that the first paragraph on that page says this: These are a small sample of environmental art work I took ownership of during making of GTA 5. Released on PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 in 2013 by Rockstar Games. "Released on PC (...) in 2013..." We all know that GTA 5 on PC came out in 2015. I don't think this is simply a mistake. It means that Rockstar originally wanted to release GTA 5 on PC together with PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, or at least at the time when this guy was working for Rockstar. Boom. oCrapaCreeper
The PC version was developed alongside lastgen and current gen, so if the guy was around during the time they were deciding the exact release dates this would make sense.
kBlaise
The initial plan probably was to release it in March 2013 on PS3/X360, then on PC 6-7 months later.

Well if all the versions were developed together, why PC version came out so late?
_MK_
Well if all the versions were developed together, why PC version came out so late? The PC version was being developed alongside LG as you can find in the build logs 2012,it's pretty obvious why it came out so late not to mention the 3 delays....double and triple dip, smart strategy.
