AssaultCreeper
Hey guys!. So i'm sorry if i posted in the wrong section, but i couldn't figure it out where to post it, so i decided to post it here. Lately, i bought GTA 5, and i have a problem with it. Well, i had problems first time, it lagged, and i bought a new Processor (AMD Phenom II). I also bought a new HDD of 1 TB and now the game goes smooth. However, i have bought the game on steam and when i want to start the game, it is showing me that is Loading via the GTA 5 Launcher, it says that AssaultCreeper logged in and then, suddenly, my PC shuts down with no errors/warnings. I couldn't figure it out why. I reinstalled it, but it didn't worked, i looked the "entire" internet, but i couldn'y find a fix. My PC specs are good and it should go. Anyways, after many atempts of starting, it shows an "error" like: Your computer does not meet the minimum recommended CPU Core specification. But i don't understand. I have the best Processor in the AMD class, and still shows me this error. o_O My PC Specs are: Processor: AMD Phenom II X2 B59 Processor 3.40 GHz. (rating: 6.7) RAM: 6 GB (rating: 7.4) System type: 64-bit Operating System. HDD: 1 TB (rating: 5.9) (Disk drives: ST1000DM003-1SB10C ATA Device, WDC WD1600JS-00NCB1 ATA Device) Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6570 (rating: 6.8) Monitors: 2. So if you could explain it what should i do, it would help me very much. Thanks. -AssaultCreeper
Red Hat
Seems like an overheating issue. Remove the CPU heatsink, clean off the dust, remove the old thermal paste, and apply a drop of fresh thermal paste. Make sure the heatsink sits properly and your PC is well-ventilated. The reason for the error 'your CPU doesn't meet the required specification' could be due to thermal throttling. It lowers the speed when the temperature hits a certain limit, so that the CPU won't burn itself and the motherboard with it. If your PC has shut down like this before you changed the CPU then your GPU would be culprit overheating here.
