Killed notification not showing (PS4)

I recently transferred from ps3 to ps4. Whether a glitch or some sort of feature, the little notification that comes up when you kill someone ( *InsertYourPlayerName* killed *InsertOpponentPlayerName*) doesn't show up anymore. Same thing with my mate. We can see the notification for each others kills but not our own (aka if my mate kills someone it comes up as a notification for me but he doesn't see anything, same situation for me also). I've played three sessions now and this has been the case all three times for both of us. Can anyone confirm if this is a known glitch or is it meant to be like this?

I'm having the same problem.

 

The kills are registering in the stats' menu but I've no idea who i've just killed.

Yeah same thing here. I messaged another player and he said it shows on his end that my gamertag killed that person, yet it didn't come up on my screen.

Same here, this started to happen after the executives update.. or maybe just 1 update before that... thats for sure..

 

Did anyone reported it to Rockstar already?

I think it's ironed out now.

 

I killed some players yesterday and it came up as normal.

I just quit playing a huge free roam battle. Once the "VIP" was close (flesh colored dot with X in the middle) all my kills didn't pop up, it only showed the players that killed me.

I'm pretty sure it's fixed, last night I was in several free roam battles, screen showed every kill etc.

It works when it wants to, seems more of an issue when multiple VIP organizations are around

This just happened to me on PS4. Going to try restarting the game to see if that fixes it.

It happened to me too, it was about 2 days ago, but now everything is ok, so maybe it's a short-duration glitch. I'm on PS4 too.

Was having this week's ago then all of a sudden it was fixed ,and it was working but as of last few days it's doing it again , it's really annoying

The issue only happens for me after I've killed a certain number of players. Being a bodyguard for a VIP might of caused it too. Restarting the game seems to fix it.

I don't know, when once it happened to me, well I didn't much give a sh*t because it's not that important in online, but it's only my opinion.

All your kills are still counted even though the message doesn't appear.
