Stupidity. I mean why even play the game if all your going to do is cheat? Godmode- what fun is it knowing you can't get killed cause your cheating? Modded ranks- Are you just asking to get banned or do you think the lobby is going to think your cool with a rank that isn't even possible? Unlimited Armor & Snacks- You have godmode already, are you really that trash? Blowing up the whole lobby- everyone just leaves, what was the point of that? Modded combat rolls- everyone knows your cheating so why talk sh!t like your actually good at the game? None and I mean none of this makes any sense to me.

Well... allow me to retort.

 

You asked why:

 

• God mode - because it's not exclusively for use against unwitting players in combat. It can be used for a huge variety of purposes. Personally, I've used it for messing around doing stuff that's likely to get me killed, simply for the convenience of not having to respawn. If my friends and I are stunting motorbikes off the top of Chiliad, I don't want to spend 10 minutes respawning and repeatedly dying while my character falls down the mountain like he was just tipped out of a wheel chair.

   

• Modded ranks - I'm assuming you mean the type of assclown who has a clearly modded Level 4000 account or something. There is no explanation for this. Some people f*ck up their RP multipliers when trying to hit a level in the hundreds. Other reasons for modding rank is to quickly level up a secondary character, or an entirely new account. I have a 3 day old Level 130 character on one of my accounts, because I could not be bothered levelling account after account, I've already done that 3 times legitimately.

   

• Unlimited armour and snacks - This is obviously for times when God mode isn't needed. This has also been patched, to my knowledge. Not that it gives anyone a huge advantage anyway.

   

• Blowing up the whole lobby - I can't argue with this, people who use it are dicks, and deserve to be banned.

   

• Modded combat rolls - I was also under the impression that this was patched as well.

^ I agree with almost everything except...godmode. if your not using it in a fight against another player then it doesn't matter. I'm talking about people using godmode because they would die without but still have the nerve to talk sh!t when they kill someone.

I CAN use a nuke to save the planet from a asteroid, but lets face it, thats NOT what they are used for, what they were designed for, why they were built, and its defiantly not even in the 'realm' of possibility (ok well it is, but 0.00000000023% chance of an asteroid hitting earth imo isn't 'possible')

 

Its gotten REALLY bad now, I literally cannot play a game without, within 10min of joining, having 2+ modders join who do nothing but ruin the fun for others. And yes, I do think people should be allowed to enjoy the game the way they want, but when the WHOLE POINT of 'THEIR' fun is 'ruining' others fun, its both a sign of something seriously wrong with their personality, and an issue with the game as a whole.

 

No offense to those who keep arguing the reverse, but I'm sorry, modding (IE CHEATING) is not 'cool' and it should not be accepted at all, by anyone(Single player being the exception, even private lan games, because your not 'hurting' anyone, but in public games its simply 'unfair')
