Member's Only
So just yesterday I replaced my borderline outdated Nvidia GT240 with a better card (not new or top model, but it's much better). The card in question is an AMD Radeon HD 6950. When I jump straight into GTA V I'm greeted with this ugly ass sh*t, I tried everything, drivers are up to date, disabled Ambient Occlusion, etc... This is just pure f*cking bullsh*t, what's wrong with this f*cking game? Edited January 2, 2016 by GradeA-Hole
Spider-Vice
Are you playing in DirectX 10 mode? Member's Only
Are you playing in DirectX 10 mode? No, DX11. I tried with DX10.1 and it still has that pixelated fog problem.
Spider-Vice
I assume you installed the latest AMD drivers (Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7) when you changed the graphics cards and uninstalled the Nvidia ones prior? Edit: They have released some recently with hotfixes this is why I am asking. And I can't install the Crimson Drivers since there aren't any for 8, only for 8.1.
Spider-Vice
That may very well be the reason, however, especially because 8.1 has several improvements in many regards, and well, it allows you to update the drivers further. And yes, you should uninstall the Nvidia drivers of course, because although the card isn't there, you'll just have extra drivers conflicting with things. Member's Only
Wow, now my game is completely unplayable. Can barely get above 10 FPS. If you have Windows 8 and a Radeon card, do not bother with GTA V, it runs like pure condensed sh*t. Edited January 2, 2016 by GradeA-Hole

Modojo
Tbh, that Radeon card sucks. If you were on a budget, you could have settled with at least a GTX 750ti (If only your comp has a 300W PSU which most manufactured comps already have.) BS_BlackScout
I would suggest a full reinstall of your whole computer *I know, it's too much but it's a good deal sometimes*
