What deserves to be in a Muscle car collection?

One of my characters has an all-Sports-Classic garage. I love it.

But with all that available garage space and owning some Muscle-class cars already, I'm willing to start a new collection.

I have EXCLUDED the lowriders and Moonbeam, because the former goes beyond Muscle and the latter is a friggin' minivan. I own one already and it has its purposes, but it's no "Muscle car".

I have a muscle car garage but I went for a more classic/retro theme with mine. I've tried to base my cars of their real life counterparts as much as possible. My garage consists of a:

 

• Imponte Phoenix
• Coquette BlackFin
• Declasse Tampa
• Declasse Voodoo (non rusty)
• Bravado Rat Truck
• Willard Faction
• Vapid Slamvan
• Vapid Hotknife
• Vapid Chino
• Imponte Nightshade

Seeing how I'm wicked into the rat rod scene I had to scoop myself a hotknife and set it up with no hood, no fenders... Then I hunted the modded npc rat-loader and took it to LSC for the magic bed removal.

I generally tried customizing them tastefully and I think most of them could blend in with NPC cars,but I also customized some a bit more (Rat Truck and Hotknife are customized as hotrods,Buccaneer,Voodoo and Moonbeam as lowriders,Sabre Turbo,Phoenix and Blade as drag racing cars and Dukes as Dominic Toretto´s F&F1 Charger replica).I would recommend the classic 60s and 70s cars for your collection.

I've got all of them in some form or other except the Chino, Virgo, Buffalo and dukes.

 

The chino and Virgo aren't muscle cars.

The Buffalo is ok I guess, but doesn't really grab my attention.

I had a dukes ages ago when they first came out, didn't like it and haven't re bought it

I'm boring, so I'd say stick to pony cars (so no 'Muscle-class' cars that aren't strictly muscle cars - e.g. the Rat-Truck or the Chino), and for styling, draw inspiration from real-life cars (which can extend to custom cars and/or movie/TV cars if you're so inclined).

In other words:

- Vigero

- Phoenix

- Sabre Turbo

- Dukes

- Tampa

- Nightshade

- Stallion

- Ruiner*

- Dominator**

- Gauntlet**

* ** depends if you're going for a classic 'late '60s/early '70s muscle heyday' collection, or whether you're extending it to '80s/modern ponies as well.

Everytime R* gives us new cars I find myself rearranging my garages

 

I've always put them more by looks than the racing category...

 

I just moved by trucks out of my Muscle Garage and into Paleto Bay to make room for a Tampa and a Nightshade
