Paleto. I've only been attacked there by an outside force there once. The attackers were a pair with chrome super cars.

If you truly want to be isolated and avoid the horrors of free roam wars, Paleto is your choice.

Vinewood Hills. If there were some nicer houses with 10 car garages in Blaine County, I'd live out there.

Vinewood Hills

Nice houses, nice cars, you really feel in LA, Vinewood streat, nice in the day, amazing lights in the night, the only problem is have a insane neighbors, most of the shops are close

Paleto Bay

All is so calm, and the snow make that place more beautiful, and have all the shops

this two are the better places for me

Paleto Bay, No need for passive mode when I want to sell cars, buy ammo or clothes, go to barbers etc. Easy access to the Pegasus vehicles and no one is shooting me with Homing launcher when I take off from the helipad. I wish I could choose Paleto Bay as a permanent spawning location for my Yacht, because I like to start my gaming sessions from calm place.

Paleto Bay, where you can ride your bmx in public sessions and jetski for fun at sunset without worry.

The store is a small ride/drive north, idk why people are complaining... Means snack-runs need to be done... Like living in the sticks IRL.

And ofcourse the paleto sunset is made ever better by sitting in your yachts hottub...

There are really only 2 choices-

In the city where you have the joy of fearing for your virtual life constantly,

Or Paleto, where a majority of people don't shoot on sight, and twitch-kiddies can't be bothered to come north for blood.

Tough call eh?

Next to the movie studios, where Die Hard saved Christmas

Wait, what about Richard's Majestic? I live right across the road from you but I picked this place because I like watching people play Golf from my apartment.

San Fernando Valley.

Sadly that isn't even in the f*cking game so I'll just choose Vinewood Hills.

@CrysisAverted, f*ckin' A right badass mofos live there. If the penthouse update arrives to that building, I'm leaving Eclipse forever.

So you live just north of where all the badasses live? Now you know how Canadians feel.

jk jk I love Canada. The girls and syrup anyway. :pp

It seems the poll may be skewed slightly by the presence of PBMO.

I mainly live in Paleto, although I have a house on Whispymound Drive in Vinewood Hills.

Also it really isn't that far to the store. About a mile

Really, really diggin' my yacht. Perfect place to go afk to make a meal, take a phone call, smoke one, or just hang out enjoying the ambiance.

Paleto Bay, on top of what everyone else has said; it's a quick enjoyable highway drive to the Grapeseed-Sandy Shores area.

Also, I've taken all of my bicycles out; but I've been able to take out my competition cycle a few times in full public lobbies and cycle around from PB through Grapeseed, take Calafia past Stab City to Route 68 and go towards Lago Zancudo, then take the great ocean highway back up to my house in Paleto Bay. Can't do that distance in the city on a bicycle without issue.

Paleto Bay FTW. I hate LS, it's always the same. Assholes in free roam, lot of cops after you because you killed the people that were shooting you, buggy or no traffic at all, zero friendly people... impossible to relax in general.

Paleto Bay has everything I need to be ok. Shops, landmarks, things to in free roam like parachuting from the top of Mount Chiliad, places to use my Seashark, beautiful landscapes...

North Yankton should be the best place to live.

I love Paleto Bay but the fact that it doesn't have a f*cking store means it's actually really inconvenient to live in.

There is though. Conveniently placed map, courtesy of Joe Alker.

I wouldn't consider a store that's a mile and a half away from Paleto to be "in" Paleto but hey, if you don't mind driving for eighty years to buy a Snickers you do you.

This.

And for me, Paleto Bay or my Yachts. I prefer to not have a roving death match at all times in front of my place. Plus, Paleto people tend to not shoot on sight. I like that.

Depends on your play style.

If it's City living then I can't stress enough how great Alta is. It's literaly my compass to everywhere in the City.

As much as I love Grapeseed I'll give it up to Paleto Bay buuuut you must own the Hydra so u have airplane access.

It really is astounding to me that so many people don't know that you can still have 50 cars even if you own five 2-car garages. If you replace a 10-car garage with a 6 or 2-car one, the cars that don't fit in the garage will automatically be put in storage for you, so you can just call up your mechanic anytime you want to drive one of them.

As for the best place to live, definitely Paleto. Even when spawning in public sessions (Which I rarely do anymore) It's almost always peaceful up there, and chances are, if you do encounter a random, they are less inclined to shoot you in Paleto compared to LS or even Sandy Shores.

I sorta wish they would bring out the stilt houses in Paleto for sale, even though it would probably disturbe the peace quite a bit.

What's stopping you from moving there permantley?.

Paleto Bay, for sure. But I'm really digging my stilt house I bought. If only they had a few available for sale in Chumash or PB. I'd definitely move there.

City life is nice, but the crime has gone WAAAAAAAAY up in the last two years since Merryweather showed up.

Paleto Bay. Peace, quiet, Heli pad nearby, water right out front, LSC down the street.
