Will there also be the vehicle editing as well?

 

ZModeler can't believe me the x-th time, that i have bought the license and it's unnerving me as hell. I rather donate you these 5 bucks.

I need models and fragments openFormats support in OpenIV to do anything more.

Don't know if this is the right place to ask but this is one of the only threads I can find about modding GTA V's collision models.

 

Is there/will there be any way to change the locations of collision models? Or will this only allow us to change collisions in the same places that they naturally occur on the map?

 

For example, I can type in the name of a .ybn file in the Menyoo trainer and it will indicate that it has spawned an object, but it doesn't spawn any actual collision.

 

Changing collision on the map would be cool but making collision models I can place anywhere (such as below the map or inside buildings, to create new interiors) would be amazing.

The collisions export's in the testing stage now, just wait few days before the update.

So exporting collisions will be a good step twards map editing.

 

But for now, we can work on improving collisions on the existing map.

-Remove invisible wall blocking doorway to Martin's Ranch.

-Remove invisible wall blocking enterance to Life Invader Conference Room.

-Remove invisible wall blocking acess to the town in North Yankton.

-Improve collisions in interiors where there are unsolid objects such as the Comedy Club.

-Improve colisions in high end apartment lobbies.

-Correct a few incorrect materials around southern San Andreas.

What's the status of updating this to work with the 2.8 release of OpenIV and odd files? I can't wait to get back into my old modding days of IV again!

There're few tests remaining, and then I'll make a release.

There'll be collisions export and models import.

Models export'll be ready in a pair of weeks I think.

GooD will make this tool useless... He announced he'll release an official plugin for 3DS Max... However, please keep this up, so there is competition to keep them improving their plugin.

As a part of the team, I know he meant GIMS. There's also a chance that OFIO will be updated for GTA V too.
