Triple Penetration
Here are my shots. - Borderlands is way too overrated. - Sonic The Hedgehog (2006) was a good game. - The NFS franchise died after Carbon. - I've enjoyed the long drives in missions in Mafia 2. - Every Tony Hawk game that used a normal controller was amazing. 1st - I concur. I absolutely love post-apocalyptic settings, be it games, books or movies (Mad Max trilogy is in my Top 3 movie list), but Borderlands was just meh. 2nd - Indeed, you should try Shadow the Hedgehog (which I think is slightly better, because Sonic had glitches and less features and didn't have variation in environment) 3rd - No, thanks, I damn loved Pro Street for some reason. When I played it, it felt like I was a real car racer who started out from almost nothing. Yet I loved Undergrounds' over-the-top arcade style and tuning. I guess I have a broad taste. However Undercover was crap, it tried too much to be Most Wanted. 4th - They weren't that long, I understand it's not a racing game where you drive long 24-hour LeMans races but come on, they aren't even that interesting with the lifeless city around you - It felt like spending your free time talking to mannequins in an otherwise empty room. 5th - I have broken 3 keyboards from playing THPS4 and THUG2. They were so amazing. THAW didn't make me feel excited at all, but I suspect I will try to give it a chance in a month or two.

coin-god
- Why do sports games even exist any more? Are you Serious? FIFA is the only sports game people play. @Street Mix How can you not think Half Life 1 and 2 are one of the best shooters of this generation? Yes I'm serious. It's the same thing over and over again but with new rosters and updated graphics. Sports games are a lot like CoD, except nobody has the balls to tell it like it is. Because they are suppoused to be like that. There is no room for innovation. People buy the new ones just for the graphics and improved AI. COD, on th other hand, is not limited like Sports games. It can innovate in any way it wants, but they just don't do it.
Robinski
I don't buy sports games myself, although I've played a sh*tload of Fifa, because I don't really follow any professional sports and prefer to play in real life. But I do understand why people who follow pro leagues buy the updated games every year. I do think though, now that a console/pc always being online becoming the norm rather than the unusual it would make sense for updated rosters, ratings, teams etc to work on a subscription service rather than bringing out a new disc-game every year. We might still be a little way off from that though.
kaisersoza_66
• The FIFA series is massively overrated! PES, although not perfect by any means surpasses it in enjoyment and player likenesses. The FIFA series is an enigma to me I just don't see what everyone else sees in it? • Read dead redemption isn't that good, it probably had good reviews because of the rockstar name and good graphics. • Tom Clancy rainbow six Vegas 2 is the best FPS game on PS3 • All the GTA games are sh*t! Chukkles
Robbing houses in SA was also mission based too. No it wasn't, maybe the first time you do it, in a mission to explain how you do it whenever you want. You just need to get that van and activate "Robberies" like you would Vigilante missions and such. Sorry just had to point that out as it was one of my favorite activivties in SA. My unpopular opinian: Heavy Rain is one of the worst games I have ever played. I played it through 1 and a half times, got so bored on the second playthrough even though one of it's biggest selling points was that things would be different depending on your actions, yeah right. I will never play a QTE movie again....
AceRay
-Just Cause 2 was far worse than Just Cause Oh, so you prefer playing buggy, broken, repetitive games? -All Deus Ex games are pretty sh*tty, not just invisible war I can understand IW and to a certain extent HR but you have to remember that the first one was revolutionary. It may suck now but at the time it a blast. You can still hate it but keep that in mind. I mean, I can't forgive Ion Storm for Daikatana either but you can't hold that against them forever. -Platformers aren't fun anymore Is that just a personal opinion, as in, you can't get into platformers or that platformers have been getting worse? Well, triple A gaming have moved into the "Gears of War" cover based shooting era and platformers are falling out of favour. I do suggest you pick up Rayman Origins, that game's a blast. I just couldn't forgive how ugly and last-gen it looked on release, nor how many game-breaking bugs it had. Come on, it was GSC Game World's first game of that scale. And Clear Sky had more game-breaking bugs and CTDs than SoC. My favourite of all is Call Of Pripyat, because it's got the best gameplay, but the story is better in first two. And when it came out (SoC), I played it on lowest possible settings and some tweaks that made the game go even worse with graphics. I didn't complain, finished the game twice that way. Redketman
GTA IV is an overrated game. (Yet I think it was a good game). Grand Theft Auto Advance was a great game. One of the best for the Game Boy Advance system. Super Mario Bros 2 isn't a good game comparing to the other games of the series. Call of Duty games on DS are good. sivispacem
Fallout New Vegas was better than Fallout 3. I agree but i liked the map on Fallout 3 better I also agree to a point. FONV had a better basic plot, and was much less linear. Shooting, crafting, scavenging, eating, drinking, sleeping and all those other elements that made up the primary gameplay were vastly superior in NV. I also find NV less buggy, funnier and with better themes and environment. I just sorely miss the claustrophobia and dank fear of spending literally hours chewing through irradiated ghouls and psychotic gangs in the subway tunnels. That was the best thing about 3. Finn 7 five 11
First off, don't try and debate all my points, i couldn't be bothered, you can disagree if you like but don't expect me to reply. - Games are being made for pussies now, almost every game i have played that has released in the last 7 years has been easy to complete, Rainbow six being the only exception, which has been getting easier anyway. - GTA IV wasn't as fun as the other GTA's, it was good, but all the annoying little things that were buggy or slow in the game pissed me off, getting in and out of cars was slow, changing weapons and taking cover was clunky and slow, getting health was a pain in the ass, you either had to know a location for a pick-up or drive around until you found a hotdog stand because they weren't marked on the map, Niko ran around like an old man with prostate cancer. The whole f*cking game was in slow-motion or something, and Niko was a clumsy as f*ck moron who was 80 years old and couldn't move properly, and you never achieved anything in the whole game, people just died and you moved from sh*thole to sh*thole. - Skyrim sucks, never been into the whole old style games set hundred years ago+. - COD is great for Multiplayer, they absolutely nailed most of the elements you would want in a shooter in Black Ops and then brought down the wall with MW3 and it's f*cking noob assist (Deathstreaks, overpowered weapons, low health, ridiculous spawn protection, weak killstreaks). - Xbox Live has more kids on it the PSN, that is for certain. Exkabewbikadid
I sold my Xbox 360 for pot. This is unpopular opinions, not unpopular decisions. This probably isn't a terribly unpopular opinion, but I'm about 2/3 the way through Alan Wake right now, and it's honestly one of my new favorite games. Looking at the overall reviews and reactions, I'd say it looks to have been quite underrated. Unless the game falls apart in the next two episodes it's on the path to being pretty much a 10/10 imo. jackass2009
Okay, here we go. -The Legend of Zelda games are overrated. -Borderlands is, at best, a decent couch co-op. -Nolan North is in too many video games. -Final Fantasy should've died off a long time ago. -Most (not all) games made by Japanese developers for Western countries suck. Lost Planet? Come on! -Call of Duty was cool before Killstreaks came along. Every game that included them sucks.
