BBBean
So out of curiosity I searched for "gta" in Steam and... https://i.imgur.com/mQyac4b.png But there's no download link or anything? Does it recognize that the game is installed on my computer or what? But on my Library page it doesn't show GTA2. edit: Ok, so searching for "grand theft auto" shows GTA1 too. So I guess those were available on Steam but were removed for some reason? Edited December 30, 2015 by BBBean Kennethmt
Sektor
GTA1 and GTA2 are on steam but they were only available in complete bundles with the newer GTA games and they might not be available in all regions. I don't own them on steam, they sure don't make them easy to purchase. I think they aren't included in the current "complete" GTA bundles. Silent
True, they aren't atm - they used to be, so there are people who have them on Steam but I don't think you can obtain them currently.

Mince
So I guess the only way to legally obtain this game now or the first is to find a disc? And no way to get it digitally? Edited January 6, 2016 by Mince

Dirtbag101
R* does a bundle sale on steam once every 6 months or so and that is one way to obtain it, just have to wait it out.

Nah nah nah Gta 6
GTA 1 and GTA2 used to be included in the GTA Collection bundle, however they were recently removed, most likely due to the fact that these games were never properly optimized to run on modern PCs, especially GTA 1 which is a pain to get running on Windows 8 and Windows 10. Claude_Lib
So, the only way to get them into my Steam library is to buy the full package on GMG, right? Considering it's quite expensive and is not 100% guaranteed, I will not buy it any time soon. Plus, is the full package activated by single key? If so, will i get copies of other games that I already have into my inventory?

plsdeletemyprofileN0r0k
it is not in the description, thats why im not sure if its 100% in it, but there are many comments on that they got 1+2 too. you can wait for a sale, then you get the pack for 10$, and for me it was worth the risk And yes: One Key, if you got other titels already, you wont get giftable copies Edited January 6, 2016 by R4gN0r0K

I'm on Windows 10. They should make a mobile game that contains original game, London packs, 2 and Advance to facilitate our stress to play these games. I'm pretty bored about it. No luck for me. A good point. Rockstar doesn't probably want to release games that do not work properly on modern systems. They might think it would bring bad publicity. Sidaredd
Playing GTA 2 on Windows 8.1 is gives you very annoying fps and game becomes a tiny bit unplayable. I think Steam did the right thing with removing GTA 2.
