And what NEW TECHNOLOGY Do we need. All of us have internet, right.... And consiter the other stuff i listed bout GTA VC PC, it WILL be better. If you aint got a good computer, spend $250 to upgrade it instead of getting a PS2. Think about it! gtawannabe Posted February 12, 2003 Share Posted February 12, 2003 I think a amssive multiplayer online can be achieved. Make it so theres diffrent maps everyone can log on to. Like vice city map 1 or liberty city map 1 or vice map 2. This way you and your friends can go on the same one to hang out. This should also be done on the ps2 for those people who cant afford to upgrade their computers(like me) and it should be a broadband only connection to aviod as much lag as possible. Different spawns, various AI's performing different actions (with all the citizens and what not), it'd be extremely complex to program... and probably extremely expensive, too. And if Rockstar were to create some sort of GTA online community, there'd probably be a subscription fee of some sort... and.. and... ...anyway, thats pretty much how I see it. In other words GTA MP isn't going to happen, not until Sony makes one first. Also, you don't have a PS2 emulator, and I wouldn't suggest opening it up.
