Mentioned a few in a few posts above, I also tried Grounded a day or so ago too which actually seems pretty decent and better than I expected after I saw the initial announcement for that game. There's some really good demos in there though for sure, Starmancer, an isometric space station sim with some great art, and Spiritfarer, a relaxed 2D management style game, seem the best of what I've personally played but I know there's a bunch of 2d games out there that look really good, albeit not really being my thing. Cris Tales in particular aint my thing but the ideas there are pretty damn cool.

 

Really like the whole idea of the event tbh, there's a lot of naff in there but as usual the good stuff always rises to the top, so it's not that difficult to find. If something like this can get a bigger AAA presence then digital game fests like this could really have a big future. I've heard that devs have had positive reactions to the whole thing too.

yeah, a separate thing like this for larger games would be really nice as well - beats looking at trailer after trailer lol

Combine it with an hour or so long showcase where you can wishlist and add demos to your download list during the stream.

This is the 4th day in a row steam has given me duplicate cards for completing the discovery Que, ridiculous.

They gave me the sekiro card twice, I only do the Discovery Queue  for the cards,  don't know  how to earn more

Someone else correct me if I'm wrong but I believe you only get the cards during the Major sale events (Summer, Winter etc.) outside of these events I never touch the discovery Que. 

 

Anyway I did it again this morning and finally got my first non-duplicate card but tomorrow I'm expecting it'll be back to dupes. I don't really see the point paying for cards but I guess If I have a few dollars left over and got no idea what to spend it on I may pay for one every now and again.

I've been on a roll watching R* trailers, whoever cuts those trailers deserves a Hollywood gig, some of them are so good, from the music choices to the visuals it gets me in the mood to play, this one from EFLC is one of my favourites.

Rockstar's trailers always manage to be edited really well. They show enough to get a fan excited without showing off too much, which inevitably leads to speculation. That said I can't wait to see the trailers for GTA 6.

I bought Skyrim and fallout 4 digitally because they were on sale, and because I'm at the point where I'm too lazy to change discs. I've done it with most of the games I already have physical discs for. Never thought I'd prefer digital over physical.

Dunno where to post it... Guys, what's your opinion on Fallout 4 modders? I ask because I found one guy (not gonna name him) that made patreon and for only accessing his private mods and his face preset he wants €100 per month... oh I forgot memes he makes... Don't you think that this is somehow too much? I aknowledge that he made quantities of private mods, e.g. russian gas masks and some gorkas, but why make people pay for them? I always thought that Nexus mods was community where everyone has everything. Well, it was before modders like these "appeared."

These tracks were released just one year before your photo was taken in '81. I'm just sitting here thinking of all the early adopters of "home computers" listening to these songs at the time. I wasn't even born yet!

I was just poking through new releases in the store and noticed the lack of a reviews section for the games.  That prompted me to see if they were removing the user reviews section.  Good news is they still have the user reviews...just not on the newest games.

 

But...during my investigation I came upon this...The reviews for UNO.

I'm probably going to be selling my somewhat functional original 500GB 1st GEN PS4, only problem with it is that something on the console is fried causing the controllers connection to stop working (even if directly plugged in) and the WI-FI connection drops out and won't work again without a hard restart. What would be a good price to sell this at? I was thinking maybe between $130 and $150 but what are your thoughts? 

 

I was also thinking of listing it for parts only as well, I mean sure it still works & boots but I can imagine the console wasn't built to be having it's primary features dropping out.

IIRC, it had better backwards compatibility features and support for Linux than subsequent releases. There might still be people who are interested in it functioning as is. So you *might* still get a better price for it than something completely dead.

 

As for price, look at what the auctions on e-bay are closing for. For something that's not terribly rare, that is usually a good way to estimate the price.

I asked steam for a refund on a game I purchased last year, it is dishonored 2, all the ingame menu's are in a fancy handwriting calligraphy I can't read, I only paid $24 CAD for the game and only played it for 21 minutes, do you think they will refund it?

 

I applied for the refund already and await steams response
