I think that was my first Burnout. Actually, I remember renting it or a similar one on PS2. All I did was the crash mode. I loved it.

A part of me wants to get Burnout Paradise: Remastered on PS4 just to play a Burnout again.

Don't know if it's worth it, though. 😩

I keep having that thought. Nearly bought in the recent Xbox summer sale. Then I decided against it. I have to be more strict with myself! :D

Last night I jumped back in to RDR2. Did some more of the gambling challenges. Think I'll focus on all challenges for the moment before I progress with the story.

I can't even look at videos of RDR 2 without wanting to play it again. I guess I'm lucky I sent my One X for repair and never got a new one (they refunded me). Scarlett it is then.

Though I do wish they'd release it on PC. I'll play it again with a new set of open back headphones. The audio in RDR games is so immersive.

Anybody watch Twitch on here and heard about the Ninja news?

Never been a fan of the Fortnite streamers, but it's pretty crazy Microsoft is shilling out big bucks to buy internet personalities like him now. It's pretty interesting to see Twitch finally getting some competition as it's always been the primary streaming platform.

I didn't know where to put this but:
I'm visiting at my parents' place on the other side of the country and don't have a lot to do, so I asked my little sister if she could show me some cool games on her switch. She showed me these 3 games, in this order:

  1. the newest zelda game i think breath of the something
  2. hollowknight
  3. undertale

And while the first two were very good, I have been blown away by undertale. This has got to be the greatest game ever, honestly. I didn't play any cause I love seeing other people play it their way, but I have fallen in love with the game. What a wonderfully whole experience, with tremendous density and a fantastic score. 10/10 all the way through. My favorite character is obviously Papyrus, or the dance boss with the legs.
god, what a great game. When I get back home I'll through out all my AAA bullsh*t and become a hard-core indie dude

i don’t understand the hate for fortnite i haven’t played it. maybe it is  that bad, i believe it is and i know about the game even though have never played. it’s not a good way of hating when they comment about it everywhere because the haters(happens for every game) keep the game alive as much as its fanbase and players.

I'm sure the core gameplay of Fortnite is addicting but the game still seems sh*t to me. I don't enjoy repetitive online games much.

Can anyone here list every single game they've played in their lifetime?

I've been playing games for nearly 30 years and I can't remember all of the games I've played. I'm almost tempted to go through the list of every game ever released on all the consoles I've played on and see how many games I recognize.

It's kind of unfortunate really. I've played a lot of very good games, but some happened so long ago, I can't even remember the name of the game. Maybe I'll keep a list of all games I've played from now on.

No chance. There is some obscure PS2 games I can't even remember. If we're talking games I really played, I could probably think up most of them but it'd take a while. That's a good thing about this generation really, the consoles themselves remember what games you've played now if you look at your achievements/trophies.

Is the ps3 supposed to freeze when you launch the web browser? Home screen kills it. This is my first ps3 (used) so I don't know if it's common. I'm just messing about with the options on the dashboard to see what's what.

From what I remember, the PS3 is really slow when you launch web browser or the PS store.

The PS4 actually isn't much better surprisingly.

Uncle Sikee Atric

Been playing this on the itch.io Development Build and it's a fun and quick dungeon runner, with enough variation in the rule sets to make each 20 minute run different.

It launches officially on Steam tomorrow, check it out!

This honestly looks so good. I'm trying not to get too excited over a CoD, but they're actually making it tough this year.

Thought they got rid of the minimap? No reason for that and a compass. now there's more HUD clutter.

Still might get it though.

Meh..  I still can't get in to it. Looks like every other CoD MP to me. Running around killing the enemy. It's just seems too basic. I don't know what it is. Those maps never feel like anywhere real to me. They feel like closed-off maps and just serve as walls to keep people in and moving in certain directions. Hard to explain. It's like I'm always reminded in playing a videogame. I'll admit, I'm sure I'm blind to the nuances of different game-play styles between the different titles but all CoDs just play and act the same for me, fundamentally - multiplayer anyway.

Not sh*tting on CoD. I've played through few of the SP campaigns and enjoyed them for what they are.

Totally understandable. For some reason I just really enjoy shooting games, I never get tired of them. I just like that arcade twitchy shooter that is easy to play, but you can dominate. I like to think I'm pretty good at FPS games now, so it gives me an adrenaline rush more than most games.

If anything, the Campaign may appeal to you. I've heard lots of good things so far, it's taking a bold and realistic approach. Plus there is Spec Ops too. Which was always better than Zombies to me. It might be worth getting on sale eventually.

Never been a huge COD fan, though I enjoyed playing 3, BO & BO2 a few months ago

This one looks really cool however, definitely interested in it! Also appreciate Infinity Ward's focus on the story mode

I know what you mean mate. I think driving games are like that for me. Or even FIFA but after playing Ultimate Team, I realize I must be sh*t. :D   But yeah, I get that with driving games. I'm probably OK or even good for your average player. Maybe I'm just a bit jealous. I just don't seem to improve with FPS's online. I want to like and enjoy them because they've got loads of titles, loads of players etc. Maybe I'll give it another try. Maybe I'm more of a Battlefield style of player?

Could be. I'm pretty good at COD, but I'm only decent at Battlefield. Battlefield has a slower pace and rewards more patience and understanding of the game, where as COD is purely gun skill and aiming most of the time.

Is this The Guy?

Looking to get me a PS2 again.  Not hyped about any of the new games coming out at all really, I mean asides from Dying Light 2 and the new elder scrolls game which are a ways away.

Anyone own a ps2 and able to run it on a 4K tv?

I played the 2v2 and thought it was boring as hell sadly. Although that may just be the mode itself. It's just not very fun and very campy. The movement feels clunky, but I do like that the weapons have recoil and weight to them. The game will be better with bigger maps and more players. Still not sold though.

Don't try to play it like any other shooter. I had that problem and it's just not meant to be played that way. My advice would be to play it slow, loot up and choose your fights carefully. The last circles are by far the hardest to position yourself.

Also be aware that third person is way more popular than first person at the moment.

So Borderlands 3 drops really, really soon. I might have to jump on that. I'll be honest, I've never been a huge Borderlands fan, but for some reason I'm really in the mood for a good looter shooter. I found it really hard to get in to the second one, and whilst I did have my fair share of fun, I think I was burnt out on those kinds of games when I tried to play it. I had been playing Destiny and The Division so it makes sense. I haven't really played a similar game in a while so I might enjoy a Borderlands more now.
