Looking at my post, it came off as I was criticising the LEGO games. Not the case. I'm just not into the games in general.

I had 17 games of my 79 steam games installed and most where backed up with steam, and so I decided to only leave one game install at once to avoid over bandwidth charges , since updates seem to be running up my allowed bandwidth per month, my bill's haven't been consistent , one month my cable and internet well be $200 and the next $147 and this month it's $125 and I asked my cable/ internet provider why is this the case and they said I exceeded my internet usage the month's they where higher, I noticed that payday2 seemed to be having quite a bit of constant updating, even they'll I stopped playing it, so I uninstalled it and the rest that can be installed in minutes from steam backups!..

 

In November I'll probably only have skyrim and Fallout 4 installed, in case Fallout 4 get's tedious

Looks like Nintendo might be releasing a new console next year. I guess they really wanna rush back into the game after the Wii U's failure. Hopefully they'll have some good ideas in mind, the gamepad was just kind of a gimmick.

I finally got the Dragonrider - Tame and ride 5 dragons achievement for skyrim dragonborn, it was the last achievement I needed, and probably the only game of all my steam games I got all Achievements for, it took me 3 years to get all the achievements for skyrim!..

Alright, it's time to blow some minds. I'm keeping this here.

 

So, months ago, Major Nelson acknowledged that people were getting pissed because of the fact that a game would go on sale, they'd buy it and 2-3 months later, it'd go for free on Xbox Live.

Every 2-3 months, they put out Fallout 3 and New Vegas on sale for gold. But not the past two times. The past two times, it's only been New Vegas and Fallout 3'd DLC. Leaving only Fallout 3 at full price for the main game.

A month or two ago, they gave out Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes for free, to celebrate the upcoming (Now out) release of The Phantom Pain. And guess what, there's a new Fallout coming soon.

I'm pretty sure the facts I've listed pretty much say what I'm about to say next.

I'd be willing to wager that Fallout 3 will be one of November's free games.

Titanfall, which came out last year. Is now $5 on Xbox... The Deluxe edition, too. So that's the base game + all the DLC for $5. I can't even get Modern Warfare 1 for less than $60 on Xbox, and Modern Warfare 1 came out right after Hitler died.

Of course I f*cking bought it, I played it and had a sh*tload of fun.

I guess what I'm trying to say is..

The last remake/remaster I remember that wasn't full priced was Halo CE: Anniversary in 2011. The remaster boom showed that people are willing to buy and pay full price for anything (not that I'm not guilty of that either, since I bought NG GTA V too).

 

And I don't know about other countries, but Nintendo games are pretty damn expensive here, even used copies. Preowned Pokémon Omega Ruby is still 40 dollars. Ocarina of Time 3DS is 36 and that came out four years ago.

Lego games aren't good, they just have fun voice acting and fun dialogues. but the gameplay gets stale really fast if you aren't young.

 

That being said Shadow of Mordor is one of the two games that I ever regret buying (the other one is Shadowman for the PS2). I bought Shadows of Mordor for the full price of €60,- and played, let me check, 46 minutes.

 

That's more than a euro a minute wasted, I'd almost put it on in the background just to get it below one euro a minute.

From the very little I've read on this, it's going to be a handheld mixed with a home console, which cynically could be viewed as just a Wii-U with extended distance for portability. When said like that, it's not even that far-fetched, the main question would be how they plan on making it transferrable between playing on TV and playing on the go, whether it will be done digitally or memory card of some sort. Other points that have been mentioned are that they plan on making it graphically on-par with the PS4 and One, which Nintendo seriously need to do if they plan on getting back into business. Think we've all seen the video of Mario and Zelda on the unreal engine...now why can't Nintendo do that?

Wasn't even aware of this till a few weeks ago when I was browsing some YT videos. No doubt I had this version too back in the day, but due to my age at the time I just have no idea.

As already said, there aren't that many remakes of games that haven't cost near enough the full retail price of other games. I can't complain though, I got my version for free with the code in Mario Kart 8 . I'd hapilly pay full price though if I was to ever get a Wii U again, the remake is just gorgeous in every sense.

I actually didn't know many remakes cost that much. The only remakes I've bought were the Jak and Daxter HD collection and the Shadow Of The Colossus and Ico HD collection. Both of them cost like 20 bucks or so even though they contain 3 and 2 games respectively(oh and Okami HD was pretty cheap too). Of course they were just HD remasters and some remakes contain new features and stuff(and I actually heard that's the case with Wind Waker HD), but 60 bucks for a remake of a more than 10 year old game still sounds a little too much for me. Though I guess I might actually enjoy the game enough to warrant the price. I've never played the original, but having seen footage, the game looks amazingly up to date with its art style.

This page here might help you slightly in regards to keeping a tab on when games are released, and the fact it shows the artwork is a bonus too. Apart from that, I guess it's a matter of maybe writing the name of the game down in Notepad/Word, or saving the link to like a Gamespot/IGN article in your bookmarks? And btw, Quantum Break looks like it could be a brilliant game if they pull it off right. Remember seeing it at E3 and keeping tabs on it since...even though I have no current-gen console...

 

@Nutsack, Wind Waker is definitely worth the money. The Cel-Shading looks gorgeous in HD, and the game itself is fantastic, probably my 2nd favourite in the series. I guess it is slightly pricey when you compare it to the likes of these collections where you get like 3 games in the package...

today i've gone back to playing saints row 2 after not playing it for about 2 or 3 years and i've noticed that the cops (to me) seem to be more psychotic.

it didn't take too much to get them trying to ram my car when i'm going at top speed and within a few minutes they have swat vans blocking roads.

to me they made the cops in gta 5 seem calm.

which game has the more psychotic cops saints row 2 (or the whole series) or gta 5??

once in saint's row 2 during a cop pursuit i was fleeing from them on the freeway and a cop car rammed my car's rear hard enough to send me flying over the guard rail and off the freeway.
