He said there will be a GTA 4 and a GTA: Sin City. So more then likely, the GTA 4 will take place in San Andreas. So either GTA: Sin City will come out first as another prequal to GTA 3 and Vice City, or GTA 4 will come out then GTA: Sin City will come out as a prequal or sequal to GTA 4 just like what they did with GTA 3 GTA 3: Liberty City GTA 3: Liberty City GTA: Vice City GTA: Vice City GTA 4: San Andreas (Or) GTA: Sin City GTA: Sin City GTA 4: San Andreas Erm, actually, that's the rumor that I was talking about. That info was posted at some big gaming site, but someone from Rockstar told Schu ( from G! ) that the whole story was false. Imagine throwing a Mini Cooper around the provincial square of an old European city, sliding down narrow alleyways and flying up flights of steps. All the recent GTA games have had something new to offer, and there's plenty of celluloid reference material for the developers - Italian Job, Leon, Bourne Identity etc.. San Andreas would be cool because it'd be based on Los Angeles. LA is notorious for gang activity. I should know living in SoCal myself. Imagine the possibilities. And they already registered GTA4.com and Grandtheftauto4.com, so more than likely, they will release GTA 4 first and it will be in San Andreas. chargr67 Posted February 17, 2003 Share Posted February 17, 2003 Sin City or NO Sin City? rockstar stated that there will be a GTA 4 and GTA Sin City.. so they retracted that statment? thats what they did vice.. there was a leak about vice .. i remember going into gamestop and they had a list to sign up to preorder vice. and i was shocked because EB and the internet didnt no anything about it but i signed up then i found out that rockstar offiaclly denied that vice was in the works... as u can see they lied. about 2 weeks after that happend to me they anounced it.?? WTF? so they say it will be Sin City then they say it not gonna happen ...? with there track record i can bet that there will be a GTA sin city. but as far as the next GTA goes.. i can almost say that it will be GTA4 and set in San Andreas .. i dont no for sure but its the most logical idea.
