Even I am getting the same error.

I have the unofficial game copy...

P.s: The Gta vice City.exe version is 1.0 just like the original one,so ideally the mod should work right??

The core hacks are only designed to work with the original gta-vc exe vers1.0. Game installed first from the original CDs.. Game will not run perfectly from no-cd hacks or bootleg versions.

 

However I am aware that windows 10 and some anti virus programs block the hacks from working or automatically delete the Solcore.asi file. This is a false positive!..If this is the case put GTASOL.exe and Solcore.asi in the exception list. 

 

The hacks used are very old and I have no plans to update them.

 

We will soon have GTA SOL beta 80.0 where I moved from using Renderware and even Rage to something completely new. I'll post full details on this new open source engine soon.

Yep, developing something from scratch takes a lot of time and research. 

 

I have been thinking about the VC Infusions version as well, I miss working on "breaking the VC engine" I think the challenge is worth a revisit! making the VC engine work beyond it's default limits including adding Cleo and steam support. ??? oh and MVL..

 

Besides there was still a ton of hacks that still had to be added that would fixed the LOD spawning beyond the original map, Swimming animations added back and other external features to speed up object rendering..

 

I've been spending to much time playing Red Dead 2 Online and yeah having the stay at home under Lockdown.- I can't wait for the CoVid-96 Holly Corona virus to be over but it's very unlikely to happen as not everyone in the UK has been following the rules. I just hope the virus doesn't tern seasonal like the flu virus.
