I still have mine from back when the "Internet #s" glitch used to work on old gen. I even ended up buying the Tank and Buzzard as a level 25 and also got the Collector's Edition cars with it, but sold them since I hated them.

 

I'm surprised Rockstar never deleted the Cargobob or made it unavailable(Rockstar made it in a later patch where if you tried to call in your tank or buzzard when you weren't supposed to have them unlocked yet, it would say they were unavailable), since everyone who has one in GTA Online got it through a glitch. It even transferred over with my character to PS4 lol.

As many others have said above, I bought one using the glitch from the early days of GTAO. I do however think it should be available to purchase, it's definitely a lot of fun to use and it actually has plenty of uses in and out of freeroam.

I would have bought one back in the day of those missions where you had to steal one from Fort Zancudo but I'm not so bothered now.

 

Does it have a practical use in freemode? It's awfully slow; randoms can easily shoot it down.

Sure, make it purchasable, but patch the hook first so I can airlift cars for more than 10 seconds. If it was only PVs I could maybe understand (albeit still annoyed) but even random NPC cars have this issue...

Yeah why not. Wish I taken advantage when it was on warstock and got one. But I find they spawn often enough at the airfields.

Too OP for a Pegasus vehicle? Nah. Back in the early days of GTAO, perhaps - but since Heists added the Insurgent, Savage and Hydra, the ability to pick up vehicles and containers in a big, slow twin-rotor pales in comparison to blast-proof armour and explosive cannon rounds.

Beef up the carrying capacity to something closer to its original level, give it a price of £1.5-ish million (i.e., more than a Frogger, but less than a Buzzard), and have done. Odds are that most folk wouldn't buy one just for the novelty, anyway!

There were two glitches to obtain Cargobob to Pegasus,

One was switching Numbers via Web Browser Trick

Secound One was with Lag Switch, while going to PSN Store you had to Turn ON lag switch and quickly switch character to Frank/Trevor/Mike

After that you just had to wait on your phone at Warstock Website till your money appear and you was good to go to buy that Helicopter.

 

For now, the only method is said above, down part of this method is, It only works on LG with Mod Menu Installed...
