Garfield 2
Thought I'd start a thread whereby we can tell of our plans for the coming year, in relation to our vehicles. Whether it is changing cars, modifications, adding to the collection or simply keeping the one you have alive!! All views/aspects are welcome. For me it has to be buying an E63 6 Series BMW mr quick
Flachbau
Some of you know may know my family owns an Explorer, I've also posted pictures of it around here. We'll be selling it soon, mostly because of my father's health issues, and nobody in the family wants anything to do with it. I don't know if we'll be buying another vehicle (as a family), but I'll be getting my drivers permit around my birthday. I should have my own car in about two years, anyway. Flachbau
I don't really feel comfortable driving something that big, especially with my tiny bit of experience driving it. I've driven it around a parking lot before, but I don't really wanna take any chances. Would much rather drive in a sedan or something. Outcast
Outside of the E92, the E63 is really the only other BMW of that generation that still looks good today imo. The lines are completely unique but still looks fresh. Garfield 2 and Gnocchi Flip Flops

-Silence*
He sure did those e63's are a great looking GT Coupe, I love how the rear looks on the droptop versions too with the flying buttresses on it.... man that was a beautiful design piece. As for me, I plan on keeping my e46 and changing a few things. For cosmetics: I have a set of e92 335i staggered style 189's I need to refinish (either a off metallic bronze or gunmetal grey), I'll need new foglights & front signal lights, want to custom paint my projector shrouds & possibly upgrade my projector lenses. Mechanically I need to do tie rods, control arms and bushings, new 18" summer tires and hopefully new struts and lowering springs. My wallet really hates me & this car but I love it haha. K1FFLOM
I am looking for something to replace my daily driver, which is a 2012 KIA Rio 1,1 Diesel. I am looking for something with a -decent- stereo, small 4door and economical. On the list is the small Lexus Hybrid with the Mark Levinson sound system. Someone got another idea ? sivispacem
Don't get a CT200, they're crap for the price. Basically a Toyota Corolla underneath but at massively inflated cost. Gutless even with the electric motor, rough CVT transmission, intrusive ride. They're also not particularly small, except insude, where they're tiny. Mind you, you do seem to have a penchant for crap cars and disdain for good ones so it might suit you perfectly. No idea at this point. I'm still toying with getting shot of the Leon and getting something on a lease deal, maybe a GT86 or 2-series. Or maybe a facelift Mazda 3 MPS, Mk3 Focus ST or straight six E90. sivispacem
Forgive me if I treat your claims with some scepticism given literally the only thing you've ever posted in Vehicles is the above two comments and given the propensity for members to fund their way into Vehicles and start posting utter sh*t over the years. But we shall see. The logical question would be why someone living in Nevada would want to need two big Volvo's, including one 4x4 at all. Bit of a weird aspiration for someone in their 20s given the calibre of sports car you could attain for the same price as a top end XC90. Vegas is a massive bowl, not even a valley, but a bowl. You're surrounded on all sides by mountains. Then the ground isn't sand or dirt, it's clay, caleche technically so it doesn't absorb the water as quickly or really at all, so it floods because the rain hits the ground and just rolls along, they had to develop a whole new drainage systems just for Vegas because the regular round ones weren't moving enough water and the canals around town were overflowing, and even with that it still floods. You need to have something that sits high when it starts raining. Just Google "Las Vegas Flooding" and check out the images. Then I also like going up to Mt. Charleston where it almost always has snow on it. My BF likes going up to Lake Tahoe in the winter as well, also I just like SUV's, I am American afterall. The car I learned to drive in was a 2010 Yukon and that was the car I drove for the first year. I also have a 1 year old nephew, a 2 year old nephew and another on the way, I need something to haul 3 kids around in when I babysit or pick them up. I also enjoy going off roading so I need something to tow a quad or two. And ever since my car accident I've been kind of weary of smaller cars, the car I was in was a '07 TT and that thing got totaled after one accident. I like sports cars as much as anyone, but only really to look at anymore. I've driven lots of cars in my life, my 16th birthday was spent at a track running sports/super cars around it. After that my dad used to take me and do that every other weekend as "bonding" stuff, so the whole high performance, get a massive V12 with 700hp+ isn't really my thing anymore. My BF's looking at getting a 650s Spyder after the first of the year, that's on top of his Turbo S, RS5, C63 coupe, and SLS black series. If I wanna drive a sports car all I have to do is drive across town to his house, or go to my dad's and borrow his 458, Targa GTS, Huracan, or Continental GT Speed. I also want the S90 for a daily driver, when I'm working I spend most of my time in my car anyway. I've never really ventured into this section of the Forums before, i only stumbled across this thread because i was looking at the "new content" tab because I'm bored and trying to find new threads to check out. I didn't realize being 20 meant I had to have a sports car, I guess I missed that memo.

KashKashMania
That's an impressive list of supercars. Got any pictures of them? Why would I? They're not my cars. I don't even have pictures of my own cars. I'm also not the type to photograph everything that exists in my life. I think I have 3 pictures of me and my BF together after 2+ years of dating. My BF is spending this year with his family and my dad said something about going to visit some friends in Cali, I just moved so I'm not in a very "have a ton of people over to my already messy house" mood anyway. Also, i couldn't give less of a f*ck about whether you find me credible or not. OP asked what our motoring plans for 2016, I posted mine. Instead I got stuck dealing with you, oh how fun. sivispacem
just because you weren't able to afford or do something at someone else's age that it's "improbable"Come back when you understand the concept of probability. Outcast has been here before. His collection of vehicles is pretty improbable but he's very much the owner of them, having demonstrated as much pretty unequivocally. Your claims are also improbable, so scepticism is fairly justified in the absence of evidence is a pretty reasonable reaction. Turning this into a suggestion that it's all down to jealousy doesn't exactly help your case.
