What would you do if Rockstar clouds crash suddenly?

and your character progress messes up just like the old days on last gen?

 

I remember garage parts were messed up sometimes where cars suddenly dissapeared or cars switched between garages

 

I also remember characters changed their appearance and progress wasnt synchronized correctly.

 

We are at a stage of the game were people spent their lifetime of the last 2 years in this game just to progress.

 

What would you do if Rockstar clouds crash suddenly?

I'd send them a screenshot of what both my characters looked like so they can recreate them... along with a email telling them how pissed off I am.

It happened a few times in the early days, but those were early characters. If it happened now ... I can't even contemplate it.

it would depend on the magnitude of the damage...

 

i could deal with stuff like looking different, losing a car or two, even losing some rank and money.

 

stuff like the cloud eating my character like it did to my first guy and not being able to get it back... it would mean the end of gtao for me.

 

yes i could pay a modder some $15-20 for a modded account but it wont be the same and i just dont have what it takes to waste another 2000+ hours of my life doing it legit.

 

without doubt that would be the end of gtao for me.

This happened to me back in August. Took me 2 months of working with rockstar to get everything back to where it was before. I am a day 1 player so it was a lot of time potentially lost for me. In the end I came out on top as they eventually got tired of me calling them and after restoring my cars money and rank they ended up giving me back every penny I spent from day 1 on my 2nd character slot. So I've got plenty of money but ALL my stats and skills got reset to 0. Looks like I have a poorly modded account now lol. Main thing that sucks is that the awards like crate chaser, armored trucks, etc can never be obtained again.
