Is the Turreted Limo worth it?

I hate to grind another $1.6M just to be disappointed, so do you guys think the Turreted Limo is worth it. I already have the Insurgent (Pickup), so it's not like I don't have something similar.

It doesn't resist explosives as well as the Insurgent Pickup. It's a fast chaingun (without explosive bullets) instead of the heavy MG on the pickup.

I don't think either one is worth buying, but that's just my opinion.

Depends how much you're throwing yourself into VIP Work. If you buy the limo, then the rest of your Organisation has it available to use via VIP/Bodyguard Abilities menu to call on instantly.

Both are so slow. The new armored sedan variants give you speed alongside heavy protection and mobility.

IDK if it shows in the minimap the symbol like the insurgent, if it doesnt show them it is worth buying, nothing better the surprising some fool that was getting ready to kill you.

 

i still remember the times where you could stay still in one corner inside your tank and someone was coming to kill you, just to ear him scream on the mic "OH F*cK its a tank"

Use it as a VIP for $25k when needed, buy it once it goes on sale if really wanted. That's what I'm gonna do anyway.

golden aircraft has a stupid rule, no passive yet jets and tanks can go into it.

I'll probably never use it 80 times in vip missions, so I'm better of just paying 20k whenever I want to use it.

I also wonder if it's worth buying. I'll just do LS Connection once and sell a car off the streets to pay off that 20-25K bill of ordering one as VIP. Then I'll test it out (haven't done so) and see for myself. I already own the Insurgent Pick-Up which I only use when my friend wants it out so I'm not totally sold on the limo. I mean, it looks cool but honestly you're better off buying a car or two you'd enjoy, with friends or by yourself.

I had a problem last time I called mine up. It gave me the regular stretch basic limo, (like the pink one that spawns at the nightclub )when I played full price for turreted and have already used it a few times for drive bys.

 

Someone in the lobby I befriended mustve thought I was an idiot or something calling up the black limo for what? some kind of hookup? lol. he left the session.

 

I am really upset though , going to try it again and see whats going on.

If you have a driver who knows what he/she's doing, then you can get kills in free mode with it, even in auto aim. The driver just needs to keep their distance from enemy players, so that you're out of the range you can be locked on at. All of a sudden, you're both free aiming, only you've got a minigun, are hidden behind the car, and need both you and your driver to die if you're going to be stopped. Having said that, the Insurgent can do all of this, and takes more explosives anyway. It also fits more people I think.

 

The Limo might be better in missions, Since the AI stay accurate from long distances (meaning the bullet resistant glass might be more helpful).

This is the key thing - you have to be out of autoaim range or it just won't work out. Too many people just charge in with it. I think it's fair to say that, if you get shot out of your Insurgent a lot, you'll still get shot out of this - the glass doesn't hold forever, and you really need to just stay back.

 

If you use it well it's good though.

Insurgent pickup owns it totally, get gold paint and dollar wheels for the swag. Don't know how people can vote yes. A good gunner helps, but it doesn't have the explosion resistance of the insurgent. Not that fast, and it cannot batter through traffic like the Insurgent.

 

Charging a player might negate an ability of the gun, but charging usually unsettles a player. Can't win a pissing contest with a nimble player with a load of rockets.

It's a pursuit vehicle. Stay away from stationary dots unless you want toe tagged.

I'll use it ten times in a vip shift. I'll usually walk away earning around $400k from a full four hours as vip. I use the buzzard more. To me, the buzzard is the absolute must have.
