Only except they're not even worth the effort comparing to smuggler aircraft which would net you $30k.

Well i don't really remember how much we got for destroying the smuggler planes. But if you destroyed a shipment of three crates that's about as much as I remember getting from armored trucks give or take 1k. Plus the firework launcher ammo and Molotovs, I don't think you can even buy that stuff right now.

 

Plus the responses can be priceless. A shocked gasp over the mic or a onslaught of text messages.

Destroying other player's crates is pretty schadenfreude, apart from getting $1k and maybe some ammo, you don't get sh*t.

And sure, you may get firework launcher ammo, but that weapon is pretty useless apart from show, and Molotovs you can get by requesting an ammo drop from Merryweather.

 

I'd much rather destroy aircraft for $30k.

Had the luck to get los santos belle tshirts and all beer hats for both my characters! Ahh, the good 'ol days. Also platinum awards for crate drops, armored cars robbed and all target vehicles. (Feel bad for some noobs)

Not sure how I feel about sell missions though, I don't think I should be able to sabotage a wearhouse sale. Seems like too much of a loss for the other guy (not that I haven't). Again I think buy missions are fine and working moving crates in a hostile lobby can be a lot of fun. You win some you lose some but sell missions are different, players should only lose a fraction of their cargo if I destroy it. Only my opinion.

I don't really find too much fun doing them. For $2k? Not many people are interested and when there's no competition other than the guy delivering them, it's kinda boring.

 

And yes, the smuggler aircraft would net you $30k per plane/heli shot down, while securicars would give you about $4-7k.

To each their own. 2k isn't much but it's more then 0. You destroy 3 crates that's 6k +ammo (mainly firework launcher ammo is the valuable ammo.)

 

I don't specifically hunt crates but if I'm not doing anything it's not much effort for me to destroy a few crates at all. Players need to protect their business. It's part of the game, ive been targeted.

Yep. I sometimes would see HPV vehicle and go for it. I would get killed trying to bring it back. I grab heli, go to Simeons garage, lace it with stickys and wait...

 

 

If I cant have it, no one can. f*ck 'em.

I got $18k for taking down a Smuggler Helicopter--BUT(!) each time you took one down, you were paid a bit more, capping off at $30k (I just wasn't there yet).

 

Ah; the good 'ol days... come on, R*, bring back those Armored Trucks too--you had a great thing going, and we never asked for their removal...

I'm mostly indifferent, but I'll upvote - because why not?

 

I think they could make both exist. We already have the ability to turn off/hide the current events don't we? So why don't they just make it so that when you hide the current events, the old ones are there again? Seems like a way of keeping everyone happy.

 

Plus I don't doubt that the current consoles can handle it. Look how much they got out of the 10+ year old PS3/360 - I don't think they're anywhere near tapped out on the current consoles and PC then.

 

Oh and OP, you should check out the "sponsoring" thing in my helisexuality thread. It's kind of a way for threads supporting causes to scratch each others backs, and give each other more of the spotlight. Have a look and let me know if you're interested.
