Rockstar should bring back the old events to PC/PS4/XBO

Call me crazy, but to this day, I still think R* didn't acnowledged issue, because in the first place they overlooked that old events gone. They never meant to get rid of them.

 

I mean, why else they would want to do that, since some stuff, like tattoes, is tied to some old freemode activities, this is just outright stupid.

 

Besides, new ones are totally PvP kind of style, no real sense of randomness that can happen just during freeroam.

 

Should bring them back, because at least they were more natural, not just crazy killing or showing who's crazy enough to bail for longest in car.

Rockstar should pop up on here and take some ideas now and then

It really does seem at the moment they're doing the opposite to what players want

The players frustration at lack of new content is rife forums,facebook,newswire its clear this dead horse they're selling has gone off abit

Wars? I don't know how being killed by whimps hiding in god mode while going for glitchy crate drops is war, but ok...

 

Rockstar would have to be even more stupid than they already are to even think about re-add the crate drops. The majority of the time they would glitch out and not drop and the few times they would you would always have at least 2 whimps hiding in God mode making it pretty much impossible to get the crates.

Damn, this is just so wrong, R* really dropped the ball here.

 

Or, support was told to play "stupid" as they dont have any good connection with a dev team regarding these decisions, for all I know they play like corporate monkeys, that gotta protect their product, by any means.

 

And the fact that this never was officially adressed by R*, why it's gone, ect, is just not very smart.

I really just want the Smugglers and Armored Trucks back.

Along with crate drops(Only drop them during events though. Waiting for a drop could take up a few activities), simply logging in to get a reward is cool but lacking in excitement. And doing a playlist for a unique piece of clothing is stupid

 

I don't mess cheap Gerald's Destroy vehicle..... 1 k reward for exploding it, a grenade or Pegasus vehicle is the only way to do that and make a good profit. Every other explosive would make the reward like 3-400 dollars. Maybe buff it up a bit if it comes back to make it worth while.

 

 

And Simeon's vehicle. Let's be honest who doesn't blow it up right away to get the next event

Maybe they will just be for private lobbies where the Freeroam Events can't happen because there aren't enough players to compete.

 

Simeon's HPVs, Gerald's target cars, Trevor's smuggler aircraft (glitchy as they had been), and the Armored Trucks are really PvE events.

Then players that didn't complete the awards and get the tattoos and such have a chance to do so.

 

Sadly, I doubt they would bring back crates as those are (functionally) more of a PvP thing.

You're mixing the Simeon vehicle things together.

 

Simeon's High Priority Vehicles are a single specific car/SUV/motorcycle, shown on the map with a green icon. They keep their icon when you or another player is driving it. He pays extra for those.

They were removed as part of the old freeroam things.

 

Simeon's wanted list is a text list of five particular models, but you can grab any one of them from anywhere you find on the map. There are no icons or anything and if you didn't know that it is on the list when you get it, it will alert you (along with a guaranteed wanted level)

The text messages can sometimes not show up, but they are generally available at any time and weren't removed.

 

Both types count as "Vehicles Exported" in the stats page

However, I'm still disappointed at R*'s move by removing all of the old events and expect us to take part in Public sessions for new events, only to be bombarded by random explosions, deaths, props, etc. as a result of hackers that were left unchecked.

I have also seen an RV cruising around Los Santos (quite odd considering they mostly spawn in the countryside). Wasn't marked on the radar, blowing it up didn't trigger anything either.

Was doing VIP with some friends yesterday and noticed a Lester Distraction on the map. Went to it and completed it. Got me the gold award for it now.

Got no clue how it triggered but I had to play it after so long.

See the day of the rebates, I was in an Invite Only Session, as a VIP, doing VIP stuff, and every 12 minutes one of these happened, I even got $10k from a bank truck, that has been like forever, I got all 5 or 6 of them in a row, starting with the HPV for simeon and ending with the Smugglers plane(I too got the Distraction from lester, $10 easy grand.)....

But when the Daily Objectives List Changed, I never got another one, EVER!

The heartbreak of being killed mere inches from a crate tust to see your killer walk over your dead body and grab the goods...

...and on the reverse the rage of the people when you would appear out of no where kill them all, go into passive mode and let the crate land on your head, lol.
