Weapon skins don't look right on peds at med-long distance?

Hey guys,

The weapon mods i have downloaded show up perfectly if i'm using them or i'm RIGHT next to a ped that's using that weapon. However as i move back from that ped the weapon starts to almost revert to it's original non modded skin and the colors on the weapon start going crazy and everything gets pixelated and shtuff (basically the weapon doesn't render properly at longer distances). I was wondering if there's a way to fix that?
