finding players met on PS4?

Hey guys, since switching to PS4 I have been unable to find players I met playing missions under the "players met" section. Instead, I just get a bunch of random players, but back when I was on PS3, it would list all the players I have come across in the order I met them. Sometimes I'd like to send a friend request or even just a message saying "well done" or something like that to someone I just played with. Is there some way I can set it up so I'll be able to find them the same way I did on PS3?

I have the same problem aswell. I think it's just the "system", and it doesn't always update it accurately. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I don't think you can change it unfortunately.

there seem to be some issues with that...

 

while the ps3 update the players met list pretty much on the fly, ps4 seem to take days to update.

PS4 players met is a bit more strict on criteria, they did it to try and filter it and make it more useful but i don't think they got it right.

 

Also if i remember correctly it's dependant on privacy settings, you can disable friends requests from random people and this removes you from the players met lists of those people if i recall, so if you can't find a player you're looking for that may be a reason why.

 

ps3 it's horrendous anyone who happens to be in the same lobby / match as you for a couple of seconds gets on the list, making it a ball ache to find the names of people you've actually been playing with and are looking for. is / was a huge complaint on the psn forums
