_CP_
Notepad will be enough to edit time cycle files. Parameters are well named, so you shouldn't have a big problem to understand them. Kennethmt and Quant

FixingG00D
Is there any existing mod or method to enable the games building lights, signs and street lights, etc to stay on, even in day time or early evening? I gather this is mapped to the games time cycle, so they only come on at night time. Any help would be great, as I have a specific use for this. Quant
I don't think .xml files needs a GUI to be edited... in my opinion what we really need is a RELOADER so we don't have to be restarting the game over and over again. Razed- and mito682

You couldn't be more right. Compare this: with this: It makes sense for *.dat files because they are very chaotic unless you use proper tabs (or similar template system), in the other hand GTAV uses *.xml which are much easier to edit and there are hundreds of xml editors very handly to fit each one needs. Also GTAV have much more settings than old GTAs, plus two timecyc for each weather (global and urban) so I don't really know how to properly organice such amount of info in the screen with a GUI, and still have everything properly structured. I'm not saying it wouldn't be helpful for some people, but in my opinion priority would be a RELOADER. YoungDragonSD
YoungDragonSD
hmmm im not really sure what you guys mean but yeah someone should go for a reloader as well. the in game time cycle editor is nice because of the live feedback. would the reloader automatically reload or would you have to manually reload (not getting immediate results)? ikt
That'd entirely depend on their implementation. I suppose actually figuring out which fields the game uses for the current timecyc (mix) is the hard pard though, the real-time stuff is just some in-game (or external) menu/interface implementation.
