I'm Sorry (Shark Cards)

I am sorry everyone for not clearly explaining my Free Shark Cards post. Yes, I understand why you'd assume it's fishy. Here I will give a detailed explanation on what the program is and how it works. First things first, that is not my channel, I'm trying to help other people out.

 

Developers on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, pay AppNana huge sums of money to advertise their apps. How this works, is a user will download a sponsored app, and can delete it if they'd like. They are rewarded points which can be redeemed from anything ranging from PayPal, to BitCoin, to Shark Cards.

 

Now, AppNana only pays you a very tiny piece of the money earned. Deleting the app or not, you've still downloaded it, which adds a +1 to their total downloads, which brings that app closer to the front page of the App Store or Play Store.

 

I had (and still have) no malicious intent on anyone in this forum. Does anyone know how to delete a thread? I can't edit my previous one with a good explanation.

Click report underneath your post and ask a mod to delete it.

Mate, don't worry about it. I also would like to apologize for being a bit wary of such things because I got boned before with Microsoft Points (I was young and dumb). I'm probably in the majority when I say I'll stick to doing missions and stuff but for those that want to get cash cards and somehow wish death on R* and not support them, I guess alternative websites that offer cheaper cash cards is a good way...yeah, I tried not sounding like a dick there but it's a bit hard.

Anyway, this will most likely get locked/deleted - just want to say that you shouldn't worry about making "bad" posts or anything. Just don't make it look like an ad and you should be fine.

I want to add to Quinn's post: if you go for alternative websites other than R*'s, you should expect a scam one way or another. If a supplier offers a product at a cheaper price and very few other websites do so, they probably have a scam going to compensate for that loss of profit. Good on you for finding a non-scam website (so far).

So a website selling shark cards buy cards from R* and then sell them cheaper with no strings attached? Sounds like a 90's movie plot for cyber-terrorism, mate - not that your saying this website is or isn't a scam...this just doesn't add up.

It's okay, thanks. Even though it isn't a scam, it's kind of a sham for paying very little % to their users. But let's be honest, would you do any different?

Idk......you maybe had a lot of points but If a person who just started has to do a lot of offers just to get the rewards

Like OP says, certain sites advertise out the wazoo. Part of the ad revenue pays for campaigns like this where the company buys a bunch of cards for (in this case) a certain number of downloads of apps. The hit they take buying cards is negated by the amount of advertisement it rakes in.

 

Hope that makes sense. For the record I can't speak to the veracity of this scheme, but things like this happen often. I've used something similar years ago for Xbox Live time.
