One of my missions seems to be broken or something

To make a long story short, i chose to kill Dimitri instead of working with him and so Kate was shot at Roman's wedding and now i am on the mission where i go with Roman and Jacob to kill the guy who killed Kate. I have re-completed the mission like 4 times because when i am in the chase sequence and i'm on the dirt bike and i have to jump from the shore to the helicopter. I complete the jump and begin hanging off the helicopter successfully and then the game tells me to press space repeatedly to climb up, all it does when i press space is switch the camera to one that faces slightly more behind the helicopter and thus causing me to loose the mission because i can't bored the helicopter.

This is driving me crazy so any help would be much appreciated.

And no i didn't jack with my key bindings, I am running a native trainer though. if that has something to do with it let me know

Well known problem the way I have beaten it is to start recording with fraps before getting on the bike,if you don't have fraps use the free version, I know sounds crazy but it works ,maybe someone else knows of some other way of doing but if you google the problem it will come up. Good luck

Try borrowing a controller to pass the mission.
