Lamborghini1335
Hi, I have had this question for awhile, if I install GTA to one folder on one harddrive and copy the base files over to another harddrive. If I install mods on the original folder and then run Online though the second folder would the game still think I am running mods even though I'm not? theNGclan
You'll be fine. Rockstar does not ban for Singleplayer modding. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a liar.
Lamborghini1335
You'll be fine. Rockstar does not ban for Singleplayer modding. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a liar. Well I have some modded .rpf files and upon playing in Online though the other folder(the unmodded one) cars that don't spawn in like the Vapid Guardian were driving down the street. So I alt + f4 to kill the game before something happened. So now the question is, if I prove to rockstar this are they going to unban me or is this 3rd time ban staying? There isn't a banned note above the minimap for me when I went back to SP. Edited December 23, 2015 by Lamborghini1335

And I ran two installs, one with mods and one without. Upon loading GTAO the game loaded the wrong files even though I told the game what files to load via what launcher I was using. 1)So you can go f*ck a duck and piss off. 2) I never used your sh*tty coded anti-cheat-of-whatever-you-call-it Edited December 23, 2015 by Lamborghini1335

Not to mention, if you did everything correctly in the past, you wouldn't have gotten banned in the first place. Or the second place. Which isn't a surprise, since you don't seem all that bright. The game doesn't just magically download things to the wrong damn place. Your problem is due to user error. 1)So you can go f*ck a duck and piss off. Get on my level. All bitching aside, I went and looked though the files using OpenIV and none of them are changed, and there are no ASI files and no scripthookV.dll exists in this unmodded folder either. It works. You could use the mods folder method provided with the OpenIV.asi
Tomasrehy
Why having 2 installs? I have 1 install and use mods folder method and everytime I go online I disable (uninstall) them from OpenIV Tools tab. Or move them manually away. So the game doesn't load the modded mods folder but the original files and its vanilla again.
Serbian_Wolf194
Just use the mod manager instead.
