Have never even entered mine yet, I live in my Yacht.

 

Only use that as extra garage space.

i still have the two most expensive stilt houses and all three penthouses,oh and also a yacht,in which i live,because spawning with a helo on your doorstep is useful.

The penthouse is nicer. Easier to get to and if I want to get away, yacht. House just didn't fit in. Mansion would another matter.

I bought the one near Franklins house on Whispymound drive and sometimes spawn there. Love the roads round there and its a laugh when you get hit by a car. Although its a pain pulling out from the garage. I still mainly spawn at my Paleto Bay house, and I have garages at Greenwich Way, Exceptionalists way, and South Shambles St

I'm not crazy about the location, but I do like the interior and how it has 3 floors so I'm keeping it.

 

Ditto. The Conker location is not too bad compared to the other stilt houses at least. It's mildly inconvenient to have to exit the garage and walk into the house and vice versa, but not cripplingly so.

I've always been curious on how having two apartments in the same building works, how do you access your garage? Does it ask at the buzzer which one you want to access?

Yeah I was curious about this too. When you enter the garage a prompt pops up asking you which garage/apartment you want. It's quick and smooth much to my delight so I'm a big fan of the two apartments in the same block system now.Cheers for that mate.

I've kept mine. It's nice. Been there a couple of times. You pay for the looks, not so much the location, but that's alright because I have four other apartments in the city already. It's a nice retreat for when I want to get out of the city. It's not much that I want to do that, but it's there when I need it, and it's 10 more car spaces too!

I've noticed that there are alot less Yacht's about recently too - Maybe my decision to spend 800k which is pocket change on a 3 story hills house rather than spend 8mil+ on a Yacht was a good decision after all.

I bought one stilt house on each character and I really like them. It's annoying that you cannot access your garage, balconies, or backyards from inside the house though. And the houses themselves seem to the least impressive on their streets, to an extent. But I suspect R* will release nicer ones, which we'll buy, then even nicer ones, which we will also buy.

 

Still, it's more relaxing to spawn at my house in the upper east side.

 

I can live with no access to garage. But to pay that much and not even get access to the porch or decks is absurd. I wouldnt care if they had to keep a window open for me to walk out (like in Franklin's house, that window glass is missing so you can access the deck and pool.

I would probably already bought a Stilt if we could customize them like the Penthouses.

Maybe a stilt apartment can be a grind goal instead of an instant gratification purchase.

I've not bought one. I really can't be arsed with properties in this game if I can't actually go in and have a look at them first. Sure, I can go watch some videos on YouTube, but that's crap, lazy (on the part of R*) and most likely pointless. I want to be able to walk round and look out of the windows, see the different views etc., so if the u-tuber doesn't show me what I want to see then it's not enough. I swear they (R*) think that people will buy things based on popularity and cost. Basically, if someone buys the most expensive apartment then everyone will. f*ck that sh*t.

 

I'm happy we can have another property - that is awesome. But when I do come to buy one when I inevitably run out of vehicle slots, it'll be a 10-car garage, not a surprise box on sticks.

Didn't buy one to begin with, mostly due to location. Some of them look pretty cool, but I never spend much time in apartments in this game. Plus those winding roads in the hills aren't as accessible as other cheaper garages or apartments located close to main routes in and out of the city.

 

I bought another 10-car unit in La Mesa with my 5th property slot and it's been really useful - no regrets

It's just a monkey I found on some free graphics site ages ago. It was really easy to reproduce as an SVG so I kept it and used it for my avatar, crew logo, website logo, favicon - basically anything I can!

 

I have seen an NPC wearing a monkey helmet a couple of times though, and there are similarities. I really wish we could get that helmet ourselves as it would be the obvious choice for my guy.

I really like the idea of the stilt home, it had so much potential. I like the concept of the home and the interior.

 

I dislike the location of most of them, the exterior of most of them, that we cant go on our balcony or back garden, some of them don't even have a garden with them, the missing feature of going from the home to the garage ( I hate having to leave the home then to enter the garage to leave again). The 800k doesn't even have a door to go to the pool, I have to climb over the house to get there. This update had so much potential with features, they could have added extra rooms. Having only 2 rooms in a home with 3 floors, considering the top floor is open plan as well. They could have added more bedrooms and other sorts, even a cinema room would be interesting.

 

So hell yes, I sold it and saved money by purchasing an old apartment in Tinsel Towers. If they changed things around and added better features, I would considering purchasing it again.

That I can see, more colors schemes to the existing selection.

Custom furniture.

I don't know if it's just me and I doubt it, but after the new interiors DLC released (Hipster I think) , it seemed like our apartment windows got all reflective and even in the existing high end apartments, the windows became "streaky" and not crystal clear like they used to be.

If you look at the top of them you can see a water streak mark.

So let's hope we get maids at some point.

I'm rather disappointed considering the pricetags, but I do expect them to upgrade the features and fix the issues in the future. The whole thing felt pretty unfinished but even still, I bought one.
