FUEL feature

If R* adds this it would probably be possible to re-fill fuel just by going in garage, same thing as the repair option.

You know adding to the OP's idea of ULTRA-REALISM, why not have perma-death since it'll "improve" the game and make it more "REALISTIC". I mean everyone wants that in gta to lose all their hard earned progress and start anew...

Also the need to defecate & pee should be added.

Hospitals should have a purpose too, so each in-game day, you'll have a random chance to catch a potentially lethal ilness.

Stay too muuch inside your apt?Vitamin D defficiency. You have to buy pills.

Play too much in snow? You'll get a cold. You need pills.

etc.

What I would have really loved to see though is persistent dirt on cars where if I haven't washed my sultan in months it actually looks like I've been rallying in it.

Yes times 200 for this, some cars look great clean but I'd love to leave some to get more and more dirty, shows they'd been used.

And what if we don't want to be 'in better position to comment'? Are you gonna force-feed us with your wall of text of you being needy of wanting more completely unnecessary features for Online?

Listen,i know that R* is aiming for realism since GTA4 but don't you think this is a little...BAD? STUPID? HORRIBLE???

Your idea is good but a videogame shouldn't have too much realism,it might get boring after a while and videogames are not meant to be boring.

Also, if you die in the game, your account should be deleted because in real life there is no such thing as respawn... This is a game, no one wants to be worried about fuel while they are doing other important things...

No no thrice no. This isn't Gran Turismo for the nth time. We don't need fuel tanks, tire wear or pressure differentials, manual gear selection or brake balancing. Just keep it as it is R* cheers.

LMAO wth is this ahhahahaha

It's what we think of your idea.

Sorry but not everyone seems to enjoy getting fuel from a gas station as much as you might. This fuel feature is definitely not a must.
Maybe in the next GTA game they will add this feature to make the game more realistic. Adding this feature suddenly right now would annoy a lot of people.

This. All with the possibility of bleeding our own hard-earned cash dry.

You know, I wouldn't mind all that if cars would run at their advertised speeds instead of being artificially locked in the 100~125mph range.

The call for realism in one insignificant aspect while blatantly disregarding the obviously unrealistic and more importantly, unfun aspect of vehicle mechanics in this game is laughable at best.

Yes, add in a fuel component and make it so people have to pay 25-50k to fill up their exotics. Sounds like a great plan. This would just be a monster price gouge feature on their part.

The game already has enough areas of blatant price gouging. Maybe for all those who got their money from glitching or modding and have tens or hundreds of millions it isn't a big deal but for those of us who have grinded our way to our cash, this type of stuff is annoying.

GrandTheftBatman

>Start up GTA

>Drive a prius to save on gas

>No players have guns because of the laws in Los Santos

>decide to drive downtown

>Bad traffic, takes 1hr of real time

>Get to the beach, have no friends because it is more realistic

>Pedestrian calls me a pussy

>Do nothing because assault is a crime

>Never seen a supercar in-person because only one percenters own one

>Go home

>Next day get up for work

>7 hour shift

>makes sh*t pay

>Cry myself to sleep over how balanced and realistic the game is

>Character dies of old age

>$60 well spent

Some ppl are stuck on hating the fuel idea. lol Every argument they have brought up has been thoroughly addressed but they ignore it. I find that most of the ppl who are against fuel are against it simply bcuz they cant see how it will be implemented so they assume the worse.

Funny thing is there are already some things in the game that are similar to the refueling concept. For example, you have to continually eat/drink to keep full health, you have to keep buying bulletproof vests to keep that full, you have to keep buying ammo to keep them full, you have to take your cars home or use workarounds just to fix them, etc. All of these would take just as much or even more time to do than refueling.

There are plenty of things that refueling could add to the game and effect gameplay.

* Fuel gives ppl something else to spend money on. More expensive the vehicle, more expensive the gas. Imagine gas prices on jets, tanks, insurgents, etc. We would definitely see a lot less of those which imo is a good thing and is good for the balance of vehicle use.

* Would help a bunch in chases if we could shoot the gas tank to make it leak and when its empty the car dies. Would love to ruin some of these easy getaways ppl have in supercars. Then ppl would need to call for another car so their mechanic can fix it. This could also lead to another thing to spend money on which is bulletproof gas tanks.

* Type of gas could improve performance.

* Would bring gas stations to life.

There were more I've read but cant remember them. Some of the gripes I remember are...

* I hate refueling irl. Well they obviously wont make it like real life in the game so this arguement is invalid. They could easily make it so it pleases both sides. 1) pull up to the gas pump and hit a button and done. 2) Roleplayers can get out, walk to the pump, choose gas type, hit a button and done. The biggest killer of this gripe is you don't really have to EVER refuel manually as once the car is returned to the garage the mechanic fills them automatically.

* I don't want to run out of gas in the middle of nowhere. 1) Don't drive to the desert on a low tank. 2) R* could allow us to use the jerrycan as backup fuel. 3) Just leave your car, run far enough away to call another.

There were more but again I don't remember them. they all were addressed tho but it doesn't matter. They will hate the refuel idea until R* adds it then they will gripe until a workaround or glitch is found to bypass it, then they will forget about it and move to the next gripe. :/
