3.5 mil to spend help

Buy yourself a cheap apartment with a 10 car garage, spending mega money on one is pointless.

Get a fast car; a Zentorno is a steal at just over $700k.

An armoured Kuruma is a MUST for missions, heists etc, about $500k.

You could go for a new Schafter V12, armoured version for $325k - not a super car, but at current time of writing the fastest (I think) available and it sounds absolutely superb.

Having used the Savage chopper a lot since I unlocked it ('Convoy' set-up job, Pacific Standard heist - about $2m), I've started going back to using the Buzzard as my chopper of choice, so I'd definitely plump for that. The Savage, whilst very very powerful, just isn't as agile as the buzzard - it's a very heavy lump to manoeuvre, especially around the city.

Buy the 223,000 Alta apartment or the more expensive apartment on the same road but north. Decent view and close to just about everything. When you build up your car collection, buy the Murrieta Heights garage. Then the two on Popular and the one just north of those two. You'll then have four garages just a mile away from your apartment and less than half a mile from each other plus a Los Santos Customs in spitting distance from all of them. Another benefit is people rarely hang around those garages. You'll have quick and convenient access to all 46 of your cars.

Buy a plane. The Cuban 800 is only a couple hundred thousand and is great. I'd say a Besra otherwise, but it's a third of your bank account.

Don't buy boats, they're a waste of money. If you're going to buy a second plane, have that be the Hydra. If you're going to buy a helicopter, buy the regular Swift unless you want an armed one. In that case, buy either the Buzzard or the Savage. Buy the yacht when you're rolling in money, which I do recommend because it's a sixth property (allowing you to get five cheap garages and ignoring apartments when you're bored of heists). Buy a tank as well as the regular Insurgent (without the turret, since it can be stored in your garage).

Buy the automatic shotgun and 9999 ammo. This thing is as OP as the high powered pistol in Red Dead Redemption.

Start a race solo and test-drive the cars that look best to you. My personal favorites are:

Bifta, great off-road buggy that's got a very impressive amount of speed and handling on and off road.

Cognoscenti Cabrio. Two-door car that goes almost as fast as some of the super cars. Cheap, looks great, and heavily overlooked and underappreciated.

Topless Voltic... I only say topless because you can later put the top on it if you want. Great super car and very cheap. Very good speed and great acceleration and handling.

Sultan RS. Four-door sedan with very impressive speed and handling. I thought it was a slow bit of crap until I hopped into one, plus it has several customization options. Great little car, you can find them easily on the streets.

Armored Kuruma for missions and defense against griefers.

Hydra is hands down the best vehicle in the game for pretty much any purpose (getting from point A to B, grinding missions with friends or solo, griefing if that is your thing).

In fact, stick around long enough, and you will be treated to the tears of this forum regarding it's power.

Not everyone thinks this way. I laugh at sky pussies.

You'd think that until you get your sorry arse up in the sky and get shot down repeatedly.

I don't get in the sky. I am a ground player. I just make it as difficult as I can for those types.

Cool. I do the same (except I don't use the cannons on ground players, don't think it's sporty or fun). To each their own. But I wouldn't call someone I don't know a pussie who would probably shoot you out of the sky in a matter of seconds if you fought him.

I have called them that since IV. To each his own.

Then you've been wrong since IV. Internet tough guys crack me up.

This is all pretty good advice except for the plane. No reason to buy anything other than a Hydra. With the number of jets in the sky, you'll have to go into passive mode with everything else. Once you get good with the Hydra, you can defend yourself (and still go into passive mode if you don't feel like fighting and just want to fly). Once I bought the Hydra, I don't fly anything else for these reasons.

Keep 1 Million in the bank so you can be VIP.

Buy the buzzard.

VIP + Buzzard = amazing. Free helicopter to instantly spawn right next to your person anywhere on the map.

Sad but true your best investment would be an Armored Kuruma.

You can use that to solo missions and make quick easy money, the Kuruma will pay for it self in no time.

Second, cheapest high end apartement, you'll need a high end to host heists.

Third a helicopter, but Buzzard is level locked to lvl 42 or something, and Savage is expensive and you need to unlock it from playing heist.

So it can be hard to obtain as a new player.

So get the Kuruma which is also locked until you finish a heist set up, but join Fleeca job lot's of people are still grinding that so it sould be easy to join. And the cheap high end apartment and go from there.

Good luck and have fun.

I find it amusing that you think this about someone that could easily kill you over and over. Sounds like you are butt hurt because jet people simply have a better weapon than you and could kill you regularly if so inclined.

Buy one (or two) of the 10 car garages, don't bother with an apartment (for the moment) unless you want to host the heists.

And a buzzard, makes missions so much easier and means you can spawn one for free as a VIP

The Savage is generally much more useful for missions.

But if you have limited funds and needs an "one size fits all" aircraft for both free roam and missions then yes, Hydra away.

It will carry over and both profiles will have the 3.5 million. They will essentially be different characters. So you can blow the 3.5 on PC and still have the 3.5 on XBox and vice-versa.

I recommend the Cuban because I own a Hydra and, personally, it gets boring flying one all the time, especially when you don't want to be perceived as a threat. It just gives the game a different feel to me when I'm flying a Cuban for transport and the Hydra for combat rather than the Hydra for everything.

If you're just getting started I'd buy the cheapest garage you can find, an armored Karuma and a Buzzard. Those three things will help you finish missions and make money. Skip all the BS, don't overspend on glitzy stuff or extra weaponry until later when you've built up some bank.

Also don't forget to steal cars! So many players forget this is Grand Theft Auto after all. I steal a high-end car every hour or so for seven to nine thousand apiece. Depending on how much you play that can bump your income up by up to two hundred fifty thousand a week! If you're really on the ball you'll save a space in your garage and keep a high end car there to sell when the game doesn't spawn anything good on the street.

Just my two cents.

I detest flying helicopters, but he is probably right. Though the savage takes longer to get from place to place, you are actually getting paid at a higher rate and then of course you have unlimited repetitive locking missiles. Plus, it takes a little practice to learn to stop the Hydra at a certain spot as it drifts after switching from horizontal to vertical mode.

Even better. Find a kind soul to spawn a Dubsta 2 and sell those. You can farm about $20k per car and sell one of those an hour. Little bit more work learning where they spawn, but not much.

Buy yourself ONE toy and bank the rest. If it's burning a hole, spend some of it, not all of it. Popular choices would be a nice car, armored or not depending on your style, or one of the helicopters to help with missions.

Don't blow it all. Keep at least one million so you can do VIP missions.

you cannot transfer from PC to Xbox.

Only permissible transfers are:

PS3 -> PS4 or Xbox One or PC

Xbox 360 -> PS4 or Xbox One or PC

PS4 -> PC

Xbox One -> PC

Aside from that the way character transfers work is essentially it creates a copy of the character and bank account at that time. So when I transferred from PS3 to PS4 it took a copy of my PS3 character and put it on PS4. From that point onward any progress made on the PS3 character did not affect the PS4 character and likewise any progress made on PS4 did not affect PS3.

If you want one apartment/garage to do everything, then you really need it to be near a modified vehicle spawn point, and an LSC, because otherwise you'll be spending most of your gaming time driving back and forth; this is why I recommend Tinsel. Ok, so it can get busy, but that's what passive mode/invite only is for.
