Anybody else miss the Last Gen passive mode?

The positive aspects are immense: The Nextgen passive mode is far to invisible compared to Last Gen passive mode. You cant interact with people anymore.

 

I loved to kill people in their cars while they thought they are passive. I also loved to kill passive pussys with the water canon of firetrucks or rotors of a chopper.

 

And then where the days where you had a killing spree in a lobby in a tank and people went into passive just so you could fling them through the air with the tank canon

1.NG passives are intangibility , appearing look like hologram/ghost and can actually pass to other players except NPC

2.using nearby vehicles also work , providing if your vehicle has sufficient speed and mass to intercept the ghost

3.there is always to exploit shortcomings of passives ( like car bowling , tank golf , flames created by tank cannon [ especially in grassy/wooden area ] , dynamic objects , hitched trailer , cargobob's flail , luring cops to shoot the ghost [ either by standing too close to them ] , trigger a " bullrun " to make the ghost run over by traffic , aircraft bailout )

i do recall someone ranting about passives broken in LG prior to remaster edition released

but now i find many people ranting about NG passives and wanting back , if i'm not wrong this rant can cycle indefinetly

passive mode on ps3/360 may seem like its broke but we gotta admit, the passive-ghost is ridiculous.

This is 1 of the things that has made me think twice about upgrading...why did R* decide its fine if jets and tanks can go in and out of ghost passive mode but not the swift or Luxor?!?!? I thought passive mode was SUPPOSED to help people, instead its a trolls best option.

GTA is anything but a competitive PvP game.GTA is a sandbox game that takes place into an open world, meaning that if I wanna watch bunnies jumping through tall grass all the f*cking virtual GTA day, I can do so and expect to not be bothered by anyone.

forgot the most important part, on LG you can actually "bump" into players and move them a bit. luring players onto roof tops and knocking them off to their death i find quite fun. i have had my fair share of hearing other players rages because of this.

I like the CG passive mode, when I want to sell cars, shop clothes etc. I usually turn it on. One thing I would like to change is that wanted levels should be disabled when passive is on. Those losers who abuse passive mode can be so annoying. When they start abusing it I try to keep the distance to them and always put bounty on them asap.

I'm wondering if I am the only one missing the passive mode on Last Gen consoles. You could always take revenge on people when they tried to kill you without the abuse going on with people going in passive and going out when you dont expect it.

I do miss being able to chop people with the Buzzard's blades. I don't mean people who wanted to be peaceful though - just people who turn it on and off/abuse it.

 

But on the whole it's better now - I mean, it is meant to actually work. They just need to add a proper cool down, and a longer period where you're vulnerable coming out of it.
