Do you think that the Valetine DLC will return?

I agree. But I don't think you've played the CG version of the game if you still the think Asea is now rare. It spawns in traffic pretty much all the time.

Did they ever release a DLC twice? No. They won't make an exception for this one.

Ehhh, Rockstar have actually. Twice for the Independence Day update, and now thrice for the Festive update. Your statement is now invalid.

Wow, there's more snowflakes in here than on gtao

I hope you all realize "limited" doesn't necessarily mean once in a lifetime

I don't care much about the rosie, but I now kinda want to see it released now so the majority of you will rush to sell yours

The thing is, the car is very basic and people only want one because it's rare. So that means..everyone's a snowflake(Which i'd like to add is an overused and unfunny term now.)

Agreed about the term. Super unfunny. And also, theres nothing wrong with having something just because its rare. Hell thats the entire point of trading cards, figurine collecting etc. Christ, even irl, people collect real life cars for the sole reason of rarity.

It is basic in the sense of it's performance but I wouldn't say that's the only reason someone would want one. It's a nice classic for those who love cars, looks great for roleplaying and dress ups, it's one of a kind, and is a fun vehicle to muck around in

Not necessarily, there will always be newcomers and people leaving gta, selling something once a year won't make everyone have one, some will sell theirs, some will be playing other games, and the newcomers will have joined after the time it was being sold.

In other words, you can still feel special. And if there comes a day when you don't. You'll always be special in my eyes c:

the data has always been there since release, running in everyones game after they update. but only the special chosen cornflakes that were there at that time have access to it? that's just flat out Rstarded.

its not Rstarded, its called time-limited items!

if you know the concept behind time limited stuff, you wont be bitching about it.

P.S: Stop treating it as a way to show how big your E-Peen is and drive the f*cking thing, 9/10 legit Roosevelt owners I've met never take it out of the garage.

This is what people aren't understanding: It's only appeal is that you don't have one. Other than that, it's just not special.

There was a time when the Roosevelt wasn't the only rare car though...before they put nearly every rare car on SSAO. Now that those cars are so easy to get no one cares about them even the good looking ones. The same will happen to the Roosevelt, everyone who's been crying about it will buy it, take pictures and what not for about a week then it will sit in their garages forever or be sold. I almost never drive my roosevelt just because it's not that fun. But whatever, if it makes people feel cool for a short amount of time let's do it. To me the Roosevelt is kind of a reminder of early gtao before rockstar completely broke the game, and when it was a proper mmorpg.

oh so jelly, i'll never know what "i haz what u can't haz" mentality is like. nothing says team player quite like being a novelty deusche canoe. i can only imagine the endless friend requests... omg f*ck, WHY am i wasting my time here when i should be sending these flakes a request?

IF cornflake is offensive maybe we should use the PC term: "certifiable asshole"

all in flavor?

limited time DLC is the very definition of Rstarded, i should know, i coined the phrase.

Never said the term was offensive just lame and unfunny and doesnt make sense at all. As I said before, snowflakes are renowned for all being unique from each other. Anyway, its pretty obvious that you're upset about the roosevelt subject, so ill stop teasing you.

I have no idea why you instantly assume that people who own it and want it so stay rare are assholes. We simply had the foresight to purchase the car when It was available and kept it all this time. Just because you never bought it at the time is nobodies fault but your own. The fact that there are entitled jealous people out the crying "its not fair wa wa wa!" Is neither my our fault, nor rockstars responsibility to provide you with.

Well, one reason I tend to play SP from time to time is just to drive the Roosevelt that spawns near Solomon Richards. I'm pretty confident I will drive it quite a lot in Online should they re-release it. Same goes for the Pinstripe suits (where they part of the Valentine?). I like thise suits. Same with the Gusenberg (Goosenberg?).

And if we don't get the Valentine's special next year. Well, c'est la vie.

exactly! what's so funny about certifiable assholes? totally unfunny... nailed it! that vehicle is such a touchy subject for me that i failed to ever mentioned it... talk about scarred for life.

i assure you it's no assumption (no need to assume the obvious). they're not assholes for wanting it to stay rare, just for brainwashing themselves into thinking it's rare in the first place. it's adjacent to the toxic behavior commonly found with KDR chest thumpers.

also claiming they're rewarded for being loyal when they may have never even played story mode or GTA on PS1.

I can certainly see the appeal of the Roosevelt for everyone, beyond just its limited availability. For many who play this game, the automobiles are one of the biggest, if not the biggest draw of the game. From those who simply like collecting cars as they are, to those who upgrade theirs with each option available, and everywhere in between, this game truly offers a lever of emersion and personalization not seen before in Grand Theft Auto. I myself know that when I played IV I had to save Playboy X's yellow Patriot and when I played Tbogt I wanted to save Henrique and Armando's all black Cavalcade. The same with saving the Sentinel XS and even the lowly Regina. Before we could choose paint, rims and bumpers to fit our own preferences, car hunting was a huge part of the experience.

In addition to its rarity from being time limited, it's also an incredibly unique design with some equally unique functions (horn, headlights). The appeal is quite obvious, to me atleast, though it's not a particularly fast or agile vehicle it is a great addition to any collectors garage, or a perfect vehicle for any who do mafia cosplay.

The thing I don't understand is the desire others have to keep it exclusive. To those who don't want it to be re release; why not? Would it hinder your own gaming experience to know that there are others out there who also own and are capable of calling in their own Roosevelt's? And for those who own it, is it currently your most driven vehicle? Your second, fifth, even in your top ten most driven, top twenty? For me personally, I only take mine out when I begin to think about how long it's been since the last time I drove it. That's one reason why I personally would have no problem with anyone and everyone gaining access to the car once again. It's never going to have an effect the way I perceive my own.

What would bother me the most, far more than the exclusivity of the Roosevelt, would be the fact that R* made available all of the collectors edition content to those on next gen and pc. I never purchased the CE, but those are vehicles (and weapons) that in my opinion should have remained exclusive to those who did buy the collectors edition, that was part of the draw of spending the extra money, to get exclusive content. I realize that would mean those who waited for current gen and pc could make the arguement that they never had a fair opportunity to recieve that content, but I suppose that's the same debate we find ourselves in currently with the Roosevelt. I can recall the early days when Frank's Buffalo was first brought into online, long before it was ever purchasable and duping was as simple as sitting in a car and launching a mission. The first night I got my hands on one I hosted a lobby to dupe the car to anyone that was interested, because I think these things should be able to be enjoyed by all, and not just a select few. I truly believe it will be brought back with the way they've revisited the Independance dlc and the Feative dlc. Here's hoping come February we've all got Roosevelts, or atleast had the opportunity to acquire one and this discussion becomes moot.

Rant over.

They won't bring it back, they've had chances to do so and haven't, I lost my tommy gun transferring to cg but still have my Roosevelt, they've been steadily adding new dynamics with freemode events and executives and other criminals. It's pretty doubtful they're going to update a minor lg dlc at this point, maybe next year with less shark card purchases

That's not true at all. Stop confusing the obnoxious hipster collectors with everybody else who actually likes it.

Nothing special other than the rarity? So it doesn't have a special horn? Or a pretty unique headlight setup? It's not a pre-war tank of a vehicle in the Sports Classic class that can hold 6 people? It's not unique looking or handling compared to the other pre-war vehicles? Please, stop with the rarity BS. There's plenty of things to make the Roosie special.

I'd rather see more people enjoy it, or sell it if they don't, than listen to people whine about exclusivity. It's a car. Enjoy it and drive it, or get rid of it. I'm so sick of listening to people talk about it like some kind of trophy to prove to other people how long and fanatically they've played the game, rather than as a car. I've seen people in other threads claim they'll stop playing GTAO if the Roosevelt is re-released. If your only enjoyment of the car is from denying it to others, I say good riddance.

It didn't return this year, very much doubt it'll return next year.

The VDM masks were bugged in February of this year and rendered the interaction menu unusable, meaning if they had released it this year, it would have been game breaking for any player that tried to buy one or more of the masks. They've fixed that glitch since then and added tunables to make the content available again, so regardless of which side anyone takes in this debate, the evidence is in favor of it returning.

Have you even played the game, all holiday dlcs are simply switched on via tunables on that day. Its been explained a million times about the interaction menu if you werent playing when that happened..50% of people in this thread seriously have no idea..

What's a tunable? The simplest way I can describe it is that it's basically an on/off switch for DLC packs. It means when Rockstar wants to make the DLC available, all they have to do is flip a switch.

At that point, it comes down to whether or not you trust fun, but I personally do.

I hope so.

The tears of the special snowflake kids woud be amazing(while actualy the rarest personal vehicle in this game that does rarely or not spawn in traffic is the asea probably

on ps3... on ps4 the are aseas everywhere!!

kick a stone and 10 aseas would spawn!

Having a Roosevelt does make you cool deal with it

FIXED!

Well then i gues the jb700 is the most rare :p

I hope so.

The tears of the special snowflake kids woud be amazing(while actualy the rarest personal vehicle in this game that does rarely or not spawn in traffic is the asea probably

Not as tasty as the salty, salty tears of the butthurt people who dont have one and never will. Now thats amazing.

Also ill ask again, why do I keep reading the term "special snowflake" all the time on here? So lame and cringey when I hear it in my head while reading. Whats it from cos you guys sure love saying it a lot? Newest buzzword for people who need a word to describe their jealousy without outright saying it?

Also its just a really dumb thing to say. Snowflakes are renowned for each one being unique in pattern, size etc so technically every snowflake is special.

Having a Roosevelt does not make you cool deal with it

Let me guess, you dont have a roosevelt? Cos yes, yes it does.Cool is a stupid word.

Its a fun car to drive, looks great and has a fun stock horn and is fun when a friend hangs on the side...thats it.

It does not automaticly makes a douche a nice or fun person

Edit: i own one in case you wondered....

I want to see that thing up for sale so everyone can buy it

I hope so.

The tears of the special snowflake kids woud be amazing(while actualy the rarest personal vehicle in this game that does rarely or not spawn in traffic is the asea probably

I agree. But I don't think you've played the CG version of the game if you still the think Asea is now rare. It spawns in traffic pretty much all the time.

I did not indeed :p
