I'm sure they'll bring the previous content back, but i really hope they add new clothes and vehicles. Maybe not items from the 1920's, but perhaps anther nostalgic time period, like the 40's or 50's. The way clothes and cars were styled then were just beautiful.

I hope so. I own a pair of Roosevelts, but I still want it back for sale. Preferably I'd love for them to do a second version, maybe a roadster Roosevelt this time around, in addition to the original sedan.

 

 

And of course it would be nice to get the clothes back. I want to make my male character look more gangster. And my female more like a tramp, naturally.

I have a Flash FM shirt that I will never take off, and I haven't seen anyone else since I first got it wearing it. It's a rare shirt that I spent literally 72 hours non-stop grinding over and over battling the other 360 users to get. If it ever came out again it would lose all value. Only a couple of thousand or less will have it out of the ~60million people who have GTA V.

 

These are limited items for a reason. I bought GTA V 3 times, and you people just want whatever you want? It's my fault I didn't get the Roosevelt, and no one else. Whenever I see someone driving it I think; "good on them, they deserve it". I have returning player content too, you want that just because you're a whiney child? Not gunna happen, sorry.

It could happen, I got the Roosevelt about a month or so ago via race glitch. Never say never,,, or "not"

Exactly. It seems so many of these Roosie owners want it to stay exclusive only because they like having something rare to rub in other people's faces. If it's released again, they'll sell it because it will no longer be useful for obnoxious hipsterism. Maybe then the people that actually like the car for its own merits will get to enjoy it without all the whining about exclusivity.

What you're not understanding is the entire point of it's appeal is that you simply don't have it. It's not really all that exciting of a car other than it's unique (and extremely awesome) horn.

 

If suddenly people all had it, no one will care. It will become the Asea. A car people whined and whined about not getting until they could and after 5 minutes it was dead and gone.

 

The sole appeal of this vehicle to 99.9% of the people is because they can't have it.

 

I have one. I only take it out for the victory cruise to the Pacific Standard Bank. For everything else it's basically outclassed by everything. So y'know what, yes, I do deserve "special snowflake" status for it. Why? Because I played when it was released. Because I grinded (ground?) hard to buy it. Because I bought it instead of VD clothes and masks. Because I kept it through 8+ months of a single 10 car garage. I had the foresight to keep it around when others' didn't. I'm sorry you weren't playing when it was available, and it sucks that you missed out on GTAO's early days but that doesn't make you entitlted to have something.

 

Sometimes it pays to be an early adopter, or have some foresight.

 

So, since you're all hot for "rare cars" or something, how long have you had an Asea in your garage? Still drive that all the time, too? ...No? But why not?

I literally just said I don't give a sh*t about the rarity, so I have no idea why you're bringing up the Asea. I want the Roosie because I love old cars and it's a pretty unique vehicle, being a big durable classic people can ride on. I want one to paint aqua because it reminds me of my dad's '27 Dodge Brothers sedan.

 

Also, I've been playing from the beginning. I missed the Valentine's stuff because my 360 red-ringed, and I wasn't going to replace a console that was at the end of its generation. Good for you keeping the Roosie through the days of a single garage, but I don't see why that means it should be denied to other people who missed it or started on current gen/PC. Did you get mad when Independence Day was re-released?

Not that I would mind or anything, but they probably won't do something like that because it's a Valentines Update. Just bringing stuff from the 40's and 50's in doesn't have anything to do with Valentines Day. The Roosevelt was a connection to a real life massacre on the Valentines Day back in 1929. But let's hope that they someday release a Retro DLC

Also ill ask again, why do I keep reading the term "special snowflake" all the time on here? So lame and cringey when I hear it in my head while reading. Whats it from cos you guys sure love saying it a lot? Newest buzzword for people who need a word to describe their jealousy without outright saying it?

 

Also its just a really dumb thing to say. Snowflakes are renowned for each one being unique in pattern, size etc so technically every snowflake is special.

Only whining being done is by people who dont have the roosevelt. Im sure rosey owners are just sitting back lapping up the huge amount of jealous tears with a hearty grin on their face. I know I am.

Im sure most people would much rather a completly new vehicle added instead of a two year old rehash.

Well honestly It doesn't bother me if people can get a Roosevelt.

I know I was really bummed out when my last gen garage ate mine (though Rockstar support gave me a new one recently) and understand that it's a really cool car to play around with. If somebody wants a Roosevelt, they should get the chance to buy one.

 

However, they still weren't around supporting the game early.

I ground for hours to make up that money (you know how much 700K was in early 2013!?) and bought it on time.

 

The original Roosevelts should get some kind of bonus or something, like Benny's mods or Armor.

Keep the originals unique, while letting everybody else get their Roosevelt fix (though 95% will be sold after a week)

Though they should bring it back every year (maybe with small changes to make each year's Roosevelt unique)

 

Also the rat truck was already in the game.

And the other Independence Day stuff is locked outside of the event too.

Too bad bro. You didnt get on time, you dont get to own. We knew at tje time that it was a limited time vehicle yet you didnt choose to buy it. I sold my adder at the time to finance the purchase of the roosevelt as I knew it was limited and I could always earn the money back for another adder. You obviously didnt want to make that sacrifice but now come crying to the forums because other people made sound decisions and you are jealous.

 

And if you are on pc and are complaining that you cant get it, well thats just tough luck. Same thing with the returning players bonus content (dukes, blista etc), it was a reward for loyalty and buying the game again. Pc players knew full well that that would be missing out on a years worth of gameplay and items and chose to wait any.

 

In closing, people need to stop whining about not having the car as it was nothing but their own fault. The opportunities were there for everybody, yet you chose not to capitalize.

I guarantee some of the whiners in this thead have/are going to do this exact thing. Its not ok for there to be limited time only car in the game but its all well and good to lie to get what they want.

I still want to see the other Roosevelt bodystyles for sale next year, since the only one you could buy was the one with both spares. Kind of unfair that the only way to get those versions are by save editing and duping. Mine may be duped but I still would have duped the no spares variant even if I had purchased the normal one because I like being able to have different wheels on it without it looking f*cking stupid.

 

P.S: Stop treating it as a way to show how big your E-Peen is and drive the f*cking thing, 9/10 legit Roosevelt owners I've met never take it out of the garage.

Did they ever release a DLC twice? No. They won't make an exception for this one.

 

You might try to ask the support to get the items tho.

I got my masks back but it seemed that they didn't find any trace of them in my history.

So try to convince them you had those items but you losed them. It happened to me.

 

But if you didn't play yet when this DLC was released, it might be f*cked tho XD
