Anyone who have read my post in B&M last week will know exactly when and why I became what I hated......... even if it was just a brief moment.

Killing on sight.

Used to have the philosophy that if they left me alone, I'd leave them alone.

Sadly this cost me alot of deaths over time, so now if they come anywhere near me, I shoot to kill immediately.

pretty much this.

if its white,shoot on site.

if its red, kill it dead.

I used to hate jet griefers... Now I find myself in a Hydra killing everyone in the lobby

I had to stop using freeaim because of how hard it is to find a session, along with the fact that all my friends do autoaim anyway.

You're the type of dude I'd shoot down with the heavy sniper and then you'd whine about it and go grab another jet. Every jet griefer gets owned and either leaves the lobby or gets another jet because they can't handle ground combat, lol

Using passive mode. I wont use it to sneak up to players and kill them when they are not paying attention(I hate those guys) But I do find myself using it to get out of bad situations or to better locate myself. Or even just taunting players I have already killed lol

Thought against buying an Armoured Kuruma because it was used as a noob shield, then I had no choice but to get one for the Criminal Mastermind challenge. Was a good investment while it lasted.

I used to not give a f*ck about my KD and never shot first ask questions later but after heists and the armored kuruma insurgent and hydra I have become one of them. Mostly because I am bored of gta when my friends get off so nothing is thrilling except going around killing

I bought GTA V in October 2013, completed single player and went online. Just over 2 years later and I'm still drawn back to it.

I won a hot property the other day by resorting to using my tank.

Because it's spawn was closer than the Hydra.

I sent wicked hate mail last night to a guy I seriously suspect of intentionally lagging. At first, I thought maybe it was that "gtaiv-climb&cancel" glitchiness until I realized that every time I had him in a position where there was no way he could kill me, he would disappear and reappear next to me. I sent him multiple hate mails. I used to not bother to interact with people I suspected of cheating in pvp, but gta v online has changed that tremendously.

I started on gta v online thinking very lowly of free mode griefers, but occasionally I will attempt (and sometimes even successfully) to grief other players. I even pull the tank out and go off radar at times.

No, I was ALWAYS the player who everyone hated. Still am.

I hated jet griefers, bought an Hydra, now i'm turning into one..

Welcome to the dark side.

I have never used the cannons though. I prefer the cat and mouse associated with having to lock onto a suspecting or unsuspecting target. Leaves you a bit vulnerable and gives them a chance. But it makes you appreciate the kill more.

I'm also guilty as charged when it comes to this. This game and particulary the players have a tendency to turn everyone into an asshole.

There was one annoying guy in the group of people I hung out with on GTA last year. He constantly would grief us all and would play it off as "just messing around". He would brag on about how "in game rich" he was and how many "GTA Dollars" he had. We finally got him to admit that most of his money he got through Shark Cards. At one point I went on a tirade with him and ended up putting him down, not for the Shark Cards so much, but more for him just being an annoying dick. But in doing so, I said that I would never invest in a Shark Card because they will always remind me of that douchebag. But life and work got really hectic, so much so that I was forced to stop playing GTAO all the time and got really casual with it. Then when Lowriders was released, my GTA character was pretty broke but I really wanted a lowrider, but didn't have time to grind....soooo I bought a Shark Card. A couple months later, the Executives DLC came out and I wanted a Yacht, but I was short a few million....sooooo...I bought a Shark Card. I REALLY let myself down and feel so dirty! lol

I'm a peaceful player and proud of it. I've disdained the mindless PvP in free-mode, and I look down on such players, from my pristine platform of goodness.

However, a few months ago, I was in a public session, in passive, just chilling and contemplating, while watching the mindless killing near Eclipse Towers, shaking my head at the wasted humanity, the pathetic ego-stroking, the utter pointlessness of it all.

Then I noticed that a few high level players in a crew were continuously griefing a new low level player. He was getting spawnkilled over and over again. It was heart-wrenching, to see a new, fresh-faced, happy player be so beaten down, so frustrated, so demoralized, and to imagine another ruined life, a traumatized, persecuted noob who would probably turn into the same kind of street trash that were destroying his innocence by the second.

I snapped. I just couldn't take it anymore. Against all my principles, betraying the entire arc of my peaceful virtual life, I turned off passive mode, and waited for 10 excruciating seconds before I could arm myself, to wreak justice upon the evildoers, the vile scum who were relentless in destroying the happiness and innocence of a fresh-out noob.

Finally, the countdown was over. I was mentally prepared to rain vengeance over all the scum on the streets. I opened my weapon wheel, selected my SNS pistol with 8 rounds of ammo (the only weapon I had), and joined the fray with full fury.

It didn't end well...

:p

Uhh, sh*t where to begin. In short, I need an intervention. I now select Online-GTAO-Go.

It used to be invite only. I spent hours last night in a lobby mindlessly destroying everyone I came across. I never had psycho award, or gone a little above a pink colour.

I am ashamed to say I enjoyed murdering these pricks over and over again. Mindlessly spawn killing, throwing explosives around like candy. Would refill ammo like a bitch by using the contact mission on the phone and return to fighting. Was it a full moon last night? The worst of it all - It was all in Traditional Aim.

The shame.

This is a very interesting thread.

Nice work OP.

OT - gta games have always been for me, about living my shadow... you know, f*cking hookers, killing them, lighting the corpse on fire while my avatar has a smoke under the full moon...

I break no self imposed codes while playing, only game limitations that i put on myself, like using pistols or a certain theme for missions w/e.

For me, combat is strategic, so i usually start pvp with pistols or sub machine guns and escalate as needed...

My mantra is to not shoot first while in the welcoming town of Paleto Bay, and i hunt randoms in the rest of the state sometimes, depending on my mood.

The First Hunter

I was a free aimer but one day I went into a heist and that changed my aiming mode but when I tried to change it back it was too late and I was used to it!

Also I hated killing anyone and griefers but as soon as I bought a hydra I turned into one
