Just because Rockstar is randomly banning people and a bunch of people who intentionally or unintentionally took modded cash doesn't mean the skiddies have taken a hit. They are not cheater free. The cheaters are cheating away like they always do.

 

:side note:

Don't call them modders. Only a minuscule minority of the cheaters can mod anything. 99.9999999% of the cheaters did nothing more than download and install a cheat program... So call them what they are, cheaters.

Nobody has seen modders or hackers on PS4? I see level 8000 piece of sh*t degenerates all the time. Until those failures to humanity are banned, I'm not satisfied.

Sorry, wasn't expecting someone who's been spending entire days sh*t-talking Rockstar to shell out more money for another copy of a Rockstar game that he's been banned from, before he's halfway done sh*t-talking Rockstar.

 

And no, while there are obviously cheaters who have slipped past the banwave (as I have said so in my original reply), trying to compare the current level of cheater activity with pre-1.31 levels and say they're the same is ridiculous. Before 1.31 every populated public lobby was a war between script kiddies, and now it is clear that not every lobby is absolutely riddled with them, and many are actually cheater-free. Hell I was able to have some peace griefing people in my Hydra yesterday.

No such thing exists because there is no jailbreak for the PS4.

 

Can't load code into a system if you don't have the keys.

Actually the ps4 technically officially JB a couple days ago with a catch though, it was on fw1.75 using a freebsd iirc but Sony has patched it sometime ago with newer fw but this is still a huge step forward for the modding community but you are right in saying there are no modders on either ps4 or xbone.

sort; I had been enjoying this game since the very first day I bought it, so I wouldn't possibly try to use mods,
or hacks, or any other types of programs allowing me to benefit of unfair and undeserved financial advantages,
not to mention that I had already received two other warnings, which made me understand perfectly clear that I would be banned permanently
if I were to get a third one.
Secondly, yesterday I kept experiencing various forms of issues with hackers/modders in several online sessions;
for example, I kept being blown up randomly by some unknown cheaters, or trapped in some kind of cages, which
were suddenly being spawned upon me, blocking my movements and preventing me from taking any other action
against it.
Then, the hackers would eventually teleport to me all of the sudden, starting to kill me in various ways : by making
my character explode, shooting me with fire ammunition etc; however, they were also spawning some sort of money bags
on my skin, and there was nothing I could do about that; most likely, they were trying to frame me for those illegal
actions which, as I was about to find out the next day, would bring me this severe punishment.
Furthermore, I'd like to mention that I wasn't using any kind of third-party applications (hacks, mods etc.) which
could make the game system classify me as a cheater.
In conclusion, I request you to release this ban punishment, as it's a most obvious violation of my integrity as a
player, not to speak of your completely ignoring some other players, on the whole, who keep using hacks even as we

I just went on GTA Online PC and magically found a non-modder lobby. I then moved to another one because my friend invited me. Somehow the lobby was modder-free. Third lobby I joined, no modders

i can confirm that the banwave is real. I can't believe they ruined the fun right before xmas, i was looking forward to play around in snow, do snapmatics. But now i can't do all that sh*t because i was banned without any notice (no email), i do admit going online with injector based trainer but i didn't do anything bad, and going back to ps3 is so painful now. I guess my whole holiday is ruined this year. Couldn't they just ban me for at least a week and not 10 days, which is enough to miss out everything.

 

I can only say this, rockstar is banning anyone randomly without looking at people, i have a friend who dropped cash to me and buddies, have a tampa in the garage and for some reason he wasn't caught in this banwave

That's a bit harsh, but I pretty sure those level 8000 were from LG and just transferred. I've never seen any modders on PS4.

There is no modding on PS4, only transferred modded accounts. This game will be a mess on PC for a long time, if not forever. I fully believe that people are being framed, and that all these bans people are championing will do absolutely sweet f*ck all to help the problem. so you're telling me if I joined a random lobby and someone all the sudden threw money on me you say that everything should be taken away from me. You won't be saying that if you ever join the lobby and someone started dropping cash on you.

It's funny how people on this forum are acting like they've never used one glitch in their entire life on a game. And I'm not just talking about this game I'm talking about other games too.

I'm currently on PS4 and glad i am although we are still getting modders on our platforms I've counted at least seven or eight today some even displaying god mode in freeroam with k/d's just laughable. It annoys the heck out of me to be honest just ruins the game and I'm glad R* are clamping down on this no place for this what so ever in a game where most enjoy playing online for what it is.

 

I do feel for people who want to play the game on PC legit and the way its intended i really do these modders are running riot but to be fair its PC so its expected, if R* are serious they will have to take down a whole community and there's no easy fix

 

What annoys me the most by far though is these modders have rubbish mods some just make the game look absolutely terrible. Grand Theft Auto 5 is fine the way it is in my opinion why have car mods, lighting mods and all the other sh*t that goes with it. Modders think their making the game better in their demented mind. Most these idiots have never played online enough to appreciate what it has to offer. Shame and a waste of everybody's time.

 

To be fair i went into a huge rant yesterday and hackers were the main reason why i boiled over as a whole so i really am happy to see R* taking this seriously.

All those Modders are just modded accounts transferred from ps3 xb360, ps4 has no Modders, I play every day and have yet to see the same kind of sandbox lunacy that happens on last gen and PC.

If you have money dropped on you, you should leave the game immediately and report the occurrence to Rockstar Games. This is the only way to ensure you do not get banned, or, in the unlikely event you're banned incorrectly, the only way of appealing it.

Rockstar Games has logs of who spawns the cash and where it's going and nine times out of ten, those people who say they didn't do anything wrong and was banned for money dropping on them, aren't telling the whole truth.

Rockstar support team,

I've decided to write this letter to you in order to complain about a most disturbing circumstance which

happenned to me earlier this day.

As usual, I tried to enter the game in Online mode, but, to my great astonishment, I received an almost

instant message, saying that I've been banned from this mode until 2035 (which is a more subtle way of saying

that I won't be able to play the game in multiplayer for a very long time from now on).

In the first place, I would like to emphasize the fact that I'm completely INNOCENT of any accusations of this

sort; I had been enjoying this game since the very first day I bought it, so I wouldn't possibly try to use mods,

or hacks, or any other types of programs allowing me to benefit of unfair and undeserved financial advantages,

not to mention that I had already received two other warnings, which made me understand perfectly clear that I would be banned permanently

if I were to get a third one.

Secondly, yesterday I kept experiencing various forms of issues with hackers/modders in several online sessions;

for example, I kept being blown up randomly by some unknown cheaters, or trapped in some kind of cages, which

were suddenly being spawned upon me, blocking my movements and preventing me from taking any other action

against it.

Then, the hackers would eventually teleport to me all of the sudden, starting to kill me in various ways : by making

my character explode, shooting me with fire ammunition etc; however, they were also spawning some sort of money bags

on my skin, and there was nothing I could do about that; most likely, they were trying to frame me for those illegal

actions which, as I was about to find out the next day, would bring me this severe punishment.

Furthermore, I'd like to mention that I wasn't using any kind of third-party applications (hacks, mods etc.) which

could make the game system classify me as a cheater.

In conclusion, I request you to release this ban punishment, as it's a most obvious violation of my integrity as a

player, not to speak of your completely ignoring some other players, on the whole, who keep using hacks even as we

speak, destroying every last bit of fun this game had, and still getting away with that; if that's the average standard

you have in mind when creating your games, then I must confess that I feel utterly dissapointed by this attitude.

I hope you took some time to analyse this request thoroughly, so, while I'm waiting for an answer from you, please accept

One thing to say to FANEHE is liar, liar, pants on fire. A permanent game breaking ban needs THREE prior R* strikes, one flagging and two bans.

 

 

This is actually incorrect. Rockstar Games policy on the disciplinary action taken against cheater accounts is dependant on that player's conduct. Either automated bans come from statistical analysis (basically a computer checks your player statistics) or are handed out on a case-by-case basis. The latter is normally only required if the individual has been a real nuisance or spawned mass amounts of money or there are enough substantial reports to warrant somebody checking the details personally.

 

There are several cases over the last 48 hours alone of people receiving a 20 year 'permanent' ban for their second offence.

Nobody has seen modders or hackers on PS4? I see level 8000 piece of sh*t degenerates all the time. Until those failures to humanity are banned, I'm not satisfied.

 

Calling someone a failure at humanity and a degenerate because they cheat a VIDEO GAME is a little harsh don't you think!I'm not speaking for Blasterman, but I absolutely agree with him. If you played poker with someone, even if it was for jelly beans instead of money and they cheated you and every other player by dealing off the bottom of the deck, or inserted counterfeit chips into the game, they are degenerates, frauds and cheats. This is a multiplayer game, and cheating has an effect on legitimate players. I don't see how a competitive multiplayer video game is any different from a competitive game in any other media.

Well, I'm not gonna lie about that "it was someone else". They ban me (and they were right, I used tool to spawn few things) till 2/1/2016... I'm willingly to take punishment, but I want to know if they gonna reset my level (I don't care about my cash etc.)...

What i have understood, the situation on old gen and pc really need sorting out. And if you have used a third party software, i do think that you need to be ready to face the consequences. I am so happy that I'm on PS4, my blood pressure couldn't handle that kind of dumbness.

And yeah, failure on humanity is on a nicer side of my vocabulary when discussing about these mofo's. Ruining fun for all, when people have invested time and money into this game, sucks bad.

so you're telling me if I joined a random lobby and someone all the sudden threw money on me you say that everything should be taken away from me. You won't be saying that if you ever join the lobby and someone started dropping cash on you.

It's funny how people on this forum are acting like they've never used one glitch in their entire life on a game. And I'm not just talking about this game I'm talking about other games too.

 

 

If you have money dropped on you, you should leave the game immediately and report the occurrence to Rockstar Games. This is the only way to ensure you do not get banned, or, in the unlikely event you're banned incorrectly, the only way of appealing it.

No, I am correct. The standard ban policy was as I described. That might have changed, and they do vary. I know of one case where someone got a long ban (month or more) on their first offense. This person is a moderately well known griefer and mentally ill loser who likes to harass kids playing Minecraft and Garrysmod.
