I just went on GTA Online PC and magically found a non-modder lobby. I then moved to another one because my friend invited me. Somehow the lobby was modder-free. Third lobby I joined, no modders

Man the modding community in GTA V is a joke in my opinion. The vast majority of it is just waves of people trying to cash in on some glorified spawn abuse system, no open source development, no real creativity... It really makes me upset when I think about it.

 

People have done incredibly things with so much less, but the community for mods was so open and free. GTA's modding community is the exact opposite. Toxic, selfish, and digging itself into a hole.

 

Maybe this will be something that helps change things.

No such thing exists because there is no jailbreak for the PS4.

 

Can't load code into a system if you don't have the keys.

You get way too worked up over little things. Relax dude. You will live longer. Also you will probably find most of those accounts were also transferred from PS3 and has nothing to do with the PS4.

I got one of my PS3 CIDs banned few days ago so maybe there is new anticheat. I rarely play in public sessions so I can't tell if amount of cheaters on PS3 actually dropped.

I have read of a banwave.

 

Last lobby but one, I set off in my chopper from my yacht to pick up bodyguards. Some modder decides to menu kill them and teleport me around. I left before I made a report, but he was laughing on mic, so hopefully complaints were made.

I'm currently on PS4 and glad i am although we are still getting modders on our platforms I've counted at least seven or eight today some even displaying god mode in freeroam.

even then, if Rockstar's developers had any brains they would have put a system into place to block modded accounts like that to be transferred, but instead they were too dumb to do that and allowed those idiots to transfer those accounts over.

 

the same stuff went on with the PC version, Rockstar failed to learn from that screw up and allowed the same to happen, and they even failed to put a useful anti cheat system into the game to block all the idiots from cheating.

 

I give it less than 24 hours before the PC version is full of cheating idiots again...

that's too logical for Rockstar...... if anything that is something that Sony and Microsoft need to be handling. But then again there are the obvious cheater crews with "modz" as part of the names that Rockstar is completely ignoring.

That got nothing to do with ps4, its just another modded ps3 account transfered to current gen

Yes, I too thought it was impossible, but I'm friends with a modder. He only does it for PSN cards of course (It isn't a scam either, surprisingly enough).

Whats sad is that rockstar customers felt the need to resort to using mods to protect themselves against all the cheaters because Rockstar is so loathsome and pathetic they never did anything to stop any of this from happening in the first place. One of my accounts got banned because i did the same thing, i downloaded a mod that was supposed to protect me from the cheaters.

 

I can't even put into words how much i hate Rockstar. Sucks that such a greedy and useless company has the rights to a billion dollar video game. =(

Script kiddie activity on PC has taken a massive hit compared to pre-1.31 levels, but some still persist. Either this banwave is a one-time thing, or the "detection-review-banhammer" delay is still too lengthy.

No they haven't. Every lobby i have been in tonight had multiple cheaters in it cheating away like they always do. Just because Rockstar is randomly banning people and a bunch of people who intentionally or unintentionally took modded cash doesn't mean the skiddies have taken a hit. Rockstar doesn't ban the real cheaters, they ban the people that they can catch and they don't catch many of the people who are causing the problem.
