This was predicted. Right after the Heists, people were screaming "we should be able to own a yacht." After months of programming and reworking the logistics, and probably about an hour of game time, people are already pining for the next big thing they will be bored of in an hour.

I don't think the majority of the players would be willing to spend several hundred bucks on it. Mostly glitchers/players with modded GTA$ and heist addicts would buy it for this amount of in-game cash.

Nah in the new Safari DLC you have to travel to Africa and capture animals,then when you bring them back you get a new contact Zoo Keeper you call him to deliver your war elephants and attack Zebras. I also here you'll be able to hire child soldiers with that dlc....

The only armed jet we can own takes off vertically so I don't see much use for for a carrier. I think were all due for a change of scenery, why don't we take a cruise on our yachts & dock them on another coast?

 

With all the uber rich l33t haxors and very wealthy beggars I really don't think R* should go on catering to players with way too much money just to sell cards. It pretty much alienates legit players and rewards cheaters already.

 

IMO we have tons of toys and need more content to use all our toys on. It's pretty repetitive for such a massive game, it is getting better with all the freeroam extras though.

Every time someone wants something new, R* should just delete a character of someone random until we start hunting one another in real-life until most of us are dead and we understand that if we ask for something new, someone will try to kill us. Then, and only then, we will have no threads about wanting new stuff. Until such thing happens, we'll still have hoards of idiots being greedy little slippery pigs that can't enjoy what we already have. In a game where people couldn't even play GTA:O due to connectivity issues, where having an Adder was the height of popularity, where gates swinging us into space was the best thing ever and that game now has multiple properties, yachts and free updates yet we moan like no one can hear us. We moan until our voices become coarse and the only water we get is when an update hits...but before we get that water, we need to ask every week "when will we get the water?", "do you think this update will have different types of water?", "how much will the water cost?". So many questions about things that we'll all learn about simply by waiting but we can't wait because we need that water so badly because our mundane lives seem to revolve around GTA:O - God forbid we imagine what our lives would be like if GTA:O wouldn't have come along. We would be drinking diet coke.

Get the ivory and blooddiamonds out of Africa and sell it to VIP's or the Chinese mafia. Now we have private jets and yachts, we only need a bigger map to go anywhere with it. I think the time is right for the map expansion. Will it be Liberty City, Las Venturas, San Fierro or a mix of a few?
