Can't find a certain sound (Car key)

I cannot seem to find the sound file or function (who knows?) for the sound the car makes in Online, when using the key.

I have the animation ready, but not the sound because I can't find it.

I used OpenIV to search in the update/x64/dlcpacks/mplowrider/dlc.rpf file I have looked through many more .rpf's but still no luck.

If someone knows, please help :)

Thanks in advance.

Hey man! :)

If you have searched through all the rpf files and found nothing, you could just add your own sound in. Embed the sound file into your .dll file (if your coding in C#) and play it whenever you want.

Hope it helps! :)

I'm developing in C++ but this will help, when I am trying to code in C# thanks!

I guess I need the "AUDIO::PLAY_SOUND_FROM_ENTITY(-1, "Remote_Control_Fob", PLAYER::PLAYER_PED_ID(), "PI_Menu_Sounds", 1, 0);" and the others with "Remote_Control_Open" and "Remote_Control_Close". Or should I take all the code and call it, when a button is pressed?

Just use the sound names in sub_15ced9

I'm confused, non of them work. Tried other natives like AUDIO::PLAY_SOUND or AUDIO::PLAY_SOUND_FRONTEND, still no luck.

With "non of them work" I mean they don't play a sound :(.

Very weird.

I don't know much for c++, but I think you can still load external sounds through a folder or something. I have seen many mods that use this method. Edited by AHK1221
