Festive Surprise 2015 [Information + Discussion]

Celebrate the holiday season in Los Santos now through January 5th with the Festive Surprise 2015 for GTA Online. This year's holiday treats feature a whole new collection of free seasonally appropriate clothes and accessories for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. This includes:

• New Santa outfits and a new collection of snug Pajamas

• Masks featuring Mr. and Mrs. Claus, Bad Elf, Crazy Gingerbread, Festive Luchador and more

• 3 Christmas themed Car Horns

• Christmas Trees at Legion Square and in all owned Apartments, Stilt Houses and Yachts

• Snowfall and Firework Launcher

Also, all festive attire from years past will be available during the holiday period for all platforms including original Masks and Clothes from both last year's Festive Surprise and the original 2013 Holiday Gifts. Plus keep an eye out for special gifts on all platforms during the holidays, including the chance for a few snowball fights during the rare phenomenon of Los Santos snowfall in the forecast as well as some special additions to the growing collection of fun Adversary Modes on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

So I am assuming that when the Tampa is released so will the snow weather affects. I think the last two years the snow has been turned on the 23rd or 25th so I guess we can expect these two things to release within a few days to a week.

We will not keep the items we buy i'm pretty sure since all the items are free. For Halloween Surprise we had to pay around 25k for a mask and we kept them.

I'm sure someone will come up with a glitch to save these items as an outfit, unless you can already in which case it should save like a regular outfit. Unless Rockstar completely removes these items after the Xmas dlc which is a possibility.

Based on the last two years and they way other seasonable items are handled (with the sole exception of the stocking mask), I would be surprised if we get to keep any of the free items once the event is over

Snow only lasted till the 27th, I can provide proof of this from video footage. It returned for the 31st to 2nd January, I am going to check that

though but not until 8pm when I get home.

The items will remove and we'll find out on 5th January if they are black listed on Saved Outfits as someone will have saved one during the holidays

and no doubt mention it's gone or stayed.
