Christmas Tree on Legion Square, from the official screenshot, nothing here but the tree, also featured Reversed/Flipped Christmas themed cap available to female characters. (don't know if that's new or not, but I do know there's none available normally to female characters)

They were available last year, nice to see it this year.

I've been enjoying pairing up the new Santa Outfit's with the old Stocking balaclava from last Christmas, and then killing NPCs with the hatchet before peeling out in Dukes decorated with jingle-bells.

 

Feels like Christmas to me!!

Dunno if anyone has said this yet, but it seems the festive horns add this bell jingly effect when your car is moving. Nice little touch but could get annoying real quick.

nope, but be glad they are free. Christmas 2013 the items were not free and they took them away with zero warning whatsoever and then never gave them back the next year......

New adversary mode's not out yet for me and my crew noticed they haven't been added yet.

I hope Fun will inform us when the tuneables update, because eariler when i playing online i noticed that the new adversary modes was also not included today, maybe they will be added tonight along with the Declasse Tampa and snow weather?

Snow started 12am UTC on the 24th last year, so evening time on the 23rd in the US.

Because R* really hates taking the fun route in anything, temporary.

 

Would be "too weird" for Santa to be running around normally.

 

Or fun and it would make certain players stand out amongst the generally bland character system they have but eh.

Temporary as in only able to equip at the stores during this time, or temporary as in will be removed from saved outfits?

As in removed after holidays.

Actually the Christmas Items from 2013 were free. At least I remember it being automatically added into my inventory and wardrobe. Plus after the snow went away they did indeed inform us that the content was going to be removed on the 5th of January.

I get that, I love (and rule at) the Hunting Pack type but it's always empty. Adding more and more doesn't help though.

 

I like Slasher and a few others but so many of them are crap (Offense Defense anyone?)

Offense Defense is alright if people play it with strategy, but most players have no idea how. But the best of those modes so far have been Hunting Pack and Slasher. I have yet to play the two newest ones - really want to try Extraction, that seems more serious than the rest, which are rather lightweight and silly.

seriously...I used to love special crate drops. Made freeroam soooo fun. Also you had to have some type of skills to get the crate so it seemed fair.

My crew isn't really a fan of hunting pack, but we like the offense defense (especially on x2 RP/cash) and the extraction ones.

 

Extraction relies on a bit of team work, especially on the defenders side, probably won't work well with randoms for that reason.

 

The new rumoured drop zone one sounds a bit like a mix between under siege and extraction, keen to try that one out.
