the point of telling us these things is to let us know whats going on. what rockstar did was have half the people asking if we are getting snow and the other half are asking about the tampa. great job confusing the players.

it's not a glitch. It was one of the gifts last year you got for logging in to the game on a specific day. Everyone that logged on to the game on that specific game got it, and stays in our inventories for good.

Last year they gave homing launchers, which ruined everything except jets. So we really should get flares this year (except jets).

True; but either the weapon (other than the Firework Launcher and associated ammo) is part of the upcoming to-be-unlocked surprise within the next two weeks, or like Silver le Belge speculated, future DLC (Lowriders 2?).

 

My guess is the latter--saving it for future DLC.

 

No mention or sign of special crates.

 

Farewell fun friends. *sniff* But with the script kiddies (PC anyway), perhaps it's just as well.

Based off of the leaks we've seen, I'm willing to bet that at least the Yeti masks will be a gift for logging in on a certain day. And, with the Tampa being such a fanfare car, I could see it being dispersed the same way.

Also, there were rumors of the "canister fireworks" making a comeback, so I wouldn't be surprised to find those up for grabs along with the launcher come New Year's.

I'm actually really excited for this content. This is my first GTA Christmas! Looking forward to seeing the snow, purchasing the Tampa and anything else Rockstar has in store for us.

You can see it in the background of one of the screenshots, under the Christmas Tree, so wait till either Christmas Eve or Christmas Morning to get your toy....I mean car.

They're clearly hinting at GIFTS, the Tampa is in the background, UNDER THE DAMN CHRISTMAS TREE! Like a GIFT!

So when do you get it, well probably Christmas f*cking Morning.

Just because some sh*t is datamined and leaked doesn't mean that they are going to cancel their whole event schedule and just give it NOW NOW NOW, just because you've been so eagerly awaiting this, you see when it comes to Rockstar themselves, that screenshot is the first hint they have made of the Tampa coming to GTAO.
