Akuma was my remedy. Haku was just too hard to get flowing. I cut that corner near the end quite early, before the brick thing. But as always, not so bad after you get a clean run. I didn't even wheelie too much.

I won't be too surprised of anything considering the Time trial times of some of the players here, but if Haku will be overall fastest on this one, that would be a bit of an surprise.

I read this thread expecting this to be frustrating as hell, like as hard as the Mount Chiliad trial - but I literally did it on my first try, 00:58.something, with my fully modded Hakuchou. I just took the normal GPS route, but I turned to the hills at the end of the boulevard instead of turning two times like it shows to.

I agree, only used a short wheelie to accelerate.

Always used to see the time trail clocks on my map during free roam but always assumed they paid out around 5k, but saw someone post that they give it 50k so I am now going to be doing them regularly!

 

Dusted off my Akuma and took about 8 tries to do this one. Once you perfect the route across the highway, you can do it without wheelies/leaning. I did it in 58seconds.

Whats the payout after you've done it for the first time?

 

I've never repeated one before thinking the payout would be terrible, but its a 1 minute TT so is it worth grinding?

Barely survived it! Took a few attempts at crossing the highway but after that it wasn't too difficult.

Tried out the 2nd route, going across the highway.

While I didn't beat my own time only doing a 55.1ish

But I decided to upload this because I did it in rain and because what happand at the end.

I scraped by with a couple of hundredths to go in a Bati. I tried cutting across the highway but wasn't feeling it so went the other direction across the bridge instead. That's $51k towards the stilt house fund.

Have you tried the route Furry_Monkey posted?

 

Took a lot of tries to get this one done. If the traffic didn't hit you it was me taking the shortcut wrong. If it wasn't the shortcut a curb would fling me off.

I enjoyed the route for this one but the traffic...

when I finally did reach the finish it was a 1:00.011 Eventually made it though with a 0:56.680 using the blue route Furry_Monkey posted

I've tried every route and then some, I've tried to draw them all, which turned into me trying to relearn using my tablet (pen tablet, wacom tablet, not ya know an Ipad like tablet) which I hadn't used in ages, which was a frustrating experience in itself. (background which I drew on is from http://gta-5-map.com/)

Route:

Blue - Most tried route

Green - Initial try route, but that first intersection in hills (where blue meets green) I often screw up coming from this road.

Purple - One time attempt, up that hill is possible, but you need to wheelie to make it over the guardrail at the top, which sends you airborne and just costs you a boatload of time.

Red - Tried this one three times actually, but the result is similar to Purple, you need to wheelie to make it over the small concrete wall around the parking lot, and going up the hill is just too slow, because it's pretty steep.

Orange - Easier to get up that road into the hills because you don't have to make that nasty turn there, might be worth retrying this one for me, but currently a bit to frustrated to continue. (it's between Green and Blue in town if you can't find it)

 

The Critical point is A, if you don't arrive here with a certain amount seconds to spare you are screwed either way, there are no alternatives after that point, no shortcuts, it seems to be that still need be below 40 seconds when you arrive here for motorcycles.

Any of the time trials? I have done it with several of them. Hell I have used slower cars than they had in the pic.

point is to have rockstar people who are sh*t at driving (nodo vs sb stream) to complete those trials in vehicles that are shown on trial pics.

I have, but no meaningful attempts, and nothing that resulted in a faster time, like I said, I have problems approaching the intersection where blue and green meet from that side, I've developed a severe aversion for it due to the Dipping In race where I either manage to completely screw up there, by either launching myself into air and into the cliffside opposite there, or out sheer fear of doing that I just slam the breaks so hard I just I go way to slow.

That's why I prefer blue, I don't have to fear launching myself because that road is on the same level a the intersection.

 

I also can't cut the corner at A very well either, if I don't slam myself into a post, I launch myself further north then west, meaning I have to backtrack a tiny bit from a standstill.

 

Also, I like to think myself a great motorcycle rider, because I'm better at it then racing cars, but in reality I'm just average and often win because my competition consists mostly out of people who don't know all the tricks to riding a motorcycle, like wheelies to attain maximum acceleration and speed, or those just dumb enough to go trough every corner full speed instead of lifting off the throttle or breaking when needed.
