Hmm looks like a hard one to find a decent shortcut on, lots of steep cliffs and high walls, think I'll scout it before I try it.

 

Also R* know their audience, and how to push their buttons, Casino, one of the most asked for mansions in the game, chromed Turismo with $ rims....lol

That's exactly the route I got in my head when I first saw this. I like that there are variants coming up immediately. Knowing me, though, I'll probably do it and then never go back to it

Looking at your plays the route I used was not a good decision. 4/5 times I got hit in the first 10 seconds when crossing the highway. But my driving was average on that run in the video, so there are several seconds to improve. Although I'm not into competing for the best time, I just want to "beat the game".

Using this route but so far no luck, I keep judging corners wrong and plowing either into a certain traffic light, or into various walls cause I take them too wide, traffic could also be more helpful.

As for shortcuts, this is probably the best you can do.

Welp I'm letting this one sit for now, I cut of 2 sec off my time on my last run, but I'm still over 3 seconds from the required time, I'm getting frustrated and starting to hit stuff I didn't hit on earlier runs, not to mention the fact that I've killed myself over a dozen times by now, mostly on the way back, time to do something else and try again later.

Took me about 20 minutes to get an 00.58.xxx.

 

For the first time in these trials preferred the Akuma, and it did the job perfectly.

I've gotta say, this one is definitely the hardest one yet for a car. Best of luck to you all, and I suggest you get going on this one quite quickly, as snow could make this one impossible in a few days

As you can see, I won the money, but the marker with my time didn't appear. Then I went back to the trial and I see that my record was 59:97. Really in extremis.

Barely survived it! Took a few attempts at crossing the highway but after that it wasn't too difficult.

Managed a 57.72, the first time I've actually been proud of a time instead of scraping by with a fraction of a second to spare. Which is fine by me too.

 

Overall I think it was not all that hard but as usual traffic is your main adversary. There's nothing you can do when someone barrels out of a side street and if you're going on the highway at the start then it's a roll of the dice each time.

 

I took an early left by the picnic area at the top of the hill, didn't just cut the corner I cut the whole bit out at the cost of slowing down. I think that helped a lot.

I had a few issues with this trial. First one being the highway crossing and second being the first left turn after the long straight. Once I got passed them it was straight forward. I really struggled during the night in this one.

Took me about 40 minutes. One attempt I was over by .49 seconds (aaarrrrrgh) and many attempts, that highway traffic did me in. but I got it!

 

One little shortcut that I didn't end up using: you can jump right over the house on the corner where you turn into the neighborhood at the end. May save a second, but it's not easy to nail the right angle so that you land without crashing and without losing a lot of speed.

I've got a couple of ideas for shortcuts, but I don't think they'll pan out. It seems to be another one where the obvious routes are actually the best. I cut across the freeway, rather than going south first and did it in just over 59 seconds.

 

It's like a lot of the other time trials in the respect that I tried it a bunch of times thinking, "This is a really hard one", but then everything went right and it was actually really easy when I managed it. Lots of satisfying corner cutting that makes you feel like a bike pro
