Captain Bones
Hello. I recently installed GTA: SA again from Steam and I am aware that the game has to be patched in order to have the full GTA: SA experience. The previous downgrader that took 3.0 to 1.0/1.1 no longer works and gives you an error upon trying to run the new .exe created. So I looked around a bit and found you had a steam to 1.0 downgrader, which worked as intended. The post also recommended I downloaded Silent's ASI Loader + Silentpatch in order to fix SA's remaining issues such as missing 16:9 ratios and various bug fixes. I downgraded my .exe to 1.0 and also downloaded the ASI loader and Silentpatch and followed through with the installation instructions that came with the ASI loader and the patch. the .dll files vorbis.dll and vorbisHooked.dll replaced the old ones and I added SilentpatchSanAndreas.ASI to the directory. I went to launch GTA: SA to change my resolution and begin playing but 1920x1080 wasn't there. I have tried the DEP method to fix the problem but to no avail, the 16:9 ratios did not show up. thehambone
Can you launch your downgraded version of SA without Silent's ASI loader? I feel like the issue might be the downgrade itself.
