Hey, I'm trying to get back into GTA V but have one question befor

So I played GTA V back when it first came out on Xbox, but due to the lack of content in the online mode back when it came out I lost interest after completing the story mode. After being convinced by my friends, I've decided to give it another chance and get the PC version. My problem is that I am not sure whether I should port my old online character to PC or start over. According to my friends, I could miss some of the new content if I start with a character I already have ~40 hrs with. Are there any advantages of starting with an old character compared to a new one? Would I be missing out on part of the experience if I don't start over? Any advice is appreciated- thanks!

It's best if you transfer your character since most content is behind money and level walls which you'll have more of with a transferred character, also they mostly add new content for the existing players - nothing is added for lower levels, so you're not missing anything by not creating a new character.

As said above, it is better to use your old account. I made a new one when I moved to PS4 from PS3 and I regret it. You're going to need the max health, money,etc.
