Is It Fair To Give 20% In Heists?

Heists Are The Future

Heists Are The Future

Am I the only person annoyed when people ask for 20% in Heists? There's always strangers I meet on freemode joining my Heists and asking for 20% when they haven't done any setups.

Even my friend is greedy like that, whenever I invite him to setups he never joins (unless it's a fun setup like Humane EMP) but when there's a Heist he's nearly like the first person to join and always asks for 20% even though he's done no setups.

If they've been with you since the first setup and are competent, it's fair

If a friend is short on cash, I'll give him a bigger cut out of my own

40 to 55% for leader still profits from the setup costs, so no saying whose truly greedy

People who help with setups already get paid independent of the finale. That should have absolutely nothing to do with how much people in the finale are paid.

Ultimately, it's up to you whether it's worth the extra 15% to risk getting inept losers who'll fail the finale over and over again. I always give 20% to everyone regardless of the setups. It doesn't always work out, but I find I succeed far more than when I stingily always gave 15%, and the extra time saved is worth much more than the extra 15% I have to forfeit.

If a player was from the start to the finale of the heist, yes, 20% is justifiable for them to ask and give it to them.

If a player joined in half way into the set-ups to the finale of the heist, I would still give them, at least, 15% of the cut.

Depends 20% is fair for someone who did all the setups and did them well without causing you to fail a lot (like a friend or crew member)

if friends who helped and made it easier and faster get 20% each for 60% divided between 3 and 40% for you its totally fair

But if you struggled filling sessions by yourself then a couple randoms who show up only for the heist should get 10% (but every GTA player is cheap and refuses to take a 10% cut on a heist they didn't pay for or struggle to get) so its perfectly fair for 15% so you get 55% which is fair for you (the host) since you paid and struggled to do it

I'd say if a player was with you for every single set-up and was really competent, that's worth 20 or even 25%

Considering the struggle that it is to find randoms, that should be their reward.

i personaly generaly think 20 is more then fair enough for friends that didnt do set ups yet

to fair for randumbs, i woudnt give those 20 without them being good and already proven themselves already

40-20-20-20 is what I see the most, and is very generous.

55-15-15-15 is acceptable in almost every case, although I've not joined a few, mostly because host had it set to NORMAL, and the reduced payout combined with the 15% made it feel like too big a chore.

70-10-10-10 I feel is greedy, although I've joined friends and crew members who don't have much money and told them to give me only 5 or 10.

I usually set mine to 25% all. Fleeca I set usually to 55-45, sometimes 50-50.

I give 20% when I host because I think it's a fair amount and so people don't outright leave before the heist making it even longer, but I also try to get people who really know what to do and that experience usually requires 20%. My thoughts at least.

My friends and I will fail any heist you want if you give 15%. 20% buys completion. Anything less is a host being greedy and you won't get satisfaction from us. 15% is not enough and as others have stated people got paid for the setups. We usually join by phone and 1 person invites whoever else they can into the heist. If we join and it's the 1st setup we'll play through to the final. If we join and its a final then we will finish it only if we are paid fairly. 20% is fair 15% is not. Too many greedy bastards will play the setups then not reinvite the people who got them there. Then they try to use the "you didn't do any setups so you only get 15%" line. 55% to 1 person is just them being a greedy douche.

yes it's fair since the cost of ammo and armor isn't cheap and we're all trying to make money.

for me 15% and lower isn't worth it.

If im a good shot and cooperate easily then hell yeah i want 20%

20% acts as an incentive to not f*ck up or at least not quit as quickly.

for the record i mostly tell hosts 15% is fine, as they haven't earned in setups and fronted the cash for the heist in the first place. this sometimes has guilt-tripped others (DEMANDING 20% or more) into winding their necks in and hitting ready. on the flip side.... the other day the host knocks me down to 10% because they think a reasonably high rank equates to not needing paid. i quote, "U dont need". they were of course useless and couldn't even get out of the street in front Pac Standard. at 20% i would've stayed but for 10%, no chance.

ultimately if you're lucky, you get what you pay for.

My general rule is 40-20-20-20. I expect 20% when I help whether it is the first setup or the finale. I take 40 when I host. The only exception to that rule is if it is crew members only. Then an even 25 across the board. I have enough for that sacrifice to my crew mates, but if you ain't JSOT, you're 20.

Only heist with the crew and we always do 25% cuts. We rotate leaders so it works out.

With randoms, I believe in incentivising the team to succeed, so I'll give 20%.

I've learned to accept that most random leaders will only give 15%. That buys you a single attempt. Fail and I'm off to join a crew that can get thru it. For 20% I'll stay till the job's done.

I still think player-controlled cuts was the worst idea from heists, at least as far as randoms go. Just makes for bad blood.

Bro if you and your friends will fail missions purposely over 5% then you are the greedy douches. Dont like the cut then dont help but dont be a douche bro.

Players without friends hosting to randoms can take hours or even days to complete the setups. You dont know what that player went through to get you to the finale.

I wont even bother hosting finales to randoms other than fleeca in which case I will give 60/40 or 50/50 if they did setups with me. All other finales are friends only and everyone gets 25% from me.

Im done playing for money so if im invited or join from a phone Ill take 15% happily, anything more would be a bonus.

If you're doing it solo, you're doing it wrong.

One friend = 0/60/20/20

Two friends = 0/40/40/20

Three friends = 0/35/35/30 with the 30 rotating

Honestly if you don't give 40-20-20-20 you are being a bastard. That's what I give and I wouldn't play one at any other setting because that's the fairest percentage.

No. That's too much. I usually give everybody 10% because they're randoms who didn't do and set up missions. If they complain, too bad.

If they were there from the start or at least most of the setups, you should be giving them 20%, maybe 25% if you really like these guys.

If they just joined in, 15% or lower.

Huh? 20% is too HIGH for you? Wow, I think your friend needs to find a new friend.

It doesn't matter who plays with you during the finale.

Everyone who helped on the setups already got compensated for that work, meaning they got roughly $26,000 on each of the setups if they were played on hard.

Stop being so damn greedy and do the finale glitch where you can just play it over and over again with a few friends.
